Two hours later they arrived at her front door "Thanks, I had a great dinner" Rena replied and turned to go inside.
Alex grabbed her hand "Can I see you tomorrow?"
Rena knew she really wanted to see this guy but she had to make sure she was making the right decision by taking this step "Listen Alex, as I said to you I am not ready for a relationship so my answer to seeing u tomorrow will be let me think about it"
Alex was not willing to just accept her thinking about the date so he replied " You know what sometimes in life we get hurt and we tend to close off ourselves so we won't be hurt but in truth we must understand that things happen and the best thing to do is not to close down but talk about it and try to get over it and move on with life"
Rena stood there watching Alex and knew that what he was saying to her was the truth and that this guy was definitely not gonna give up so she made up her mind in that instant to give this guy a chance.
"Okay I will meet you tomorrow"
Alex's face lit up and he released her arm "I'll be here at 8pm sharp okay"
"Cool"
Rena went inside and closed the door, and watched him leave through the blinds.
