??? POV

The thoughts rushing through my head. I feel sick to my stomach. I glance around the, well, I'm not exactly sure what it is. It's not a courtroom, but it's not an office either. I can feel my care worker's eyes burning into the back of my head.
It's been a month since my grandparents were killed in the crash but it only feels like a minute. They were wonderful people and didn't deserve the fate they were given. They were kind and caring and honest. They were the people that felt like every child was their own.
My granny Sarah always made sure I was okay. When I was younger and had had a nightmare she would turn the lamp on and read to me till I fell asleep again.
My grandad Nelson. Well he was a character. He was obsessed with collecting things. We had a shed in the back of the garden. In there was boxes and tubs full of anything we could find. Marbles, stamps, leaves.
I was disturbed from my thoughts by the "judge" standing up.
'This session will recommence in one hour.'
I leapt from my seat and left. Erin, my care worker guided me to one of the benches in the lobby.
'Josh?' she asked. 'You okay?'
'I'm fine I guess' I muttered as I pulled my phone from pocket and logged onto YouTube. I scrolled through my subscriptions. One new episode from Sjin. I'll watch it later.
It was the Yogscast that got me through the inquest. When I felt like nobody wanted me.
The time passed quickly and before I knew it I was back where I was an hour ago.
The judge rose from his grand gold leaf chair.
'Joshua Smith,' he said, ' due to recent events which will no doubt affect your future, the Court have come to a unanimous decision. We have been cooperating with Miss Erin Riley and have managed to track down a relative for you to live with.'
I stared at him in shock.
'There has to be mistake Your Honour. My grandparents never mentioned any family.'
'That may well be the case. However, the facts state that you have a brother. He lives in Bristol.'
'What?' I say.
'You have a choice to make Mr Smith. You can choose to remain here, in Newcastle, or travel down south.'
He finished his lecture, sat down and picked up his hammer thingy.
'Case closed!' He said as he hit it down on the table.
