Kelly's P.O.V
Patrick said to meet him at the mall. Patrick came up to me from behind and tickled my neck. I turn and smile and Patrick leads me into Primark. I smile. He knows all the good places I like to go. I pick up a load of stuff and we head to Topshop. Well... Topshop is good but I don't really pick up as much... Well I don't really... Like they don't select the things I'm really into. I pick up a lace cardigan and lipgloss and I wait for Patrick. He's not in the shop. I see him with my back turned to the wall. I walk over to him and I stop, frozen. He's not alone. He's with some slut. She's not even pretty. Her hair is short and spiky and died green at the ends. She's lanky and thin and her muddy brown eyes flutter close. They break apart and Patrick turns around. His eyes widen when he sees me. 'Kelly, wait I can explain' he starts but I put my hand up to stop him. I shake my head and run outside, blinded by the tears. I didn't know until them but I actually liked him. I run the full length home and run to my room. I collapse on my bed, crying wearily. There's a timid knock on my door. My dad slips in. I sit up. ' What's wrong with my little Ke-Ke?' He asks and I start crying bitterly, sinking to my knees. Dad gives me a hug and I collapse against him, telling him everything. He starts shaking angrily. 'That's the last deal I make with that lot' he growls and my eyes widen. 'Dad, Kevin and Sharon didn't do anything' I say and he shakes his head. 'Still, no person hurts my daughter and gets away with it' he says and leaves the room, slamming the door. I wince, my head feeling like it's about to split in two. I go get a giant tub of ice cream and text Sadie to get her but over her as fast as she can. I settle down in the living room and ten minutes later Sadie comes in and sees my red eyes and swollen nose. She doesn't even need to ask, she just calls Patrick a bad word and produces crisps, chocolate and soda. I smile. What best friends are for.
