"Okay, ow," I said as I hit my head on the headboard. The bright light stung my eyes as I used my arm to push myself up into a sitting position. "Hey! We thought you'd never wake up!" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned my head and saw my sister Cynthia approaching me, a smile on her face as she fixed her long green hair into a ponytail. "Well, I'm awake, but I'm not happy about it," I replied, grimacing as I stand up. She laughed as she wrapped me in a hug, nearly crushing me. "Cynthia, you're gonna make me pass out!" I said playfully as she set me down, her face alight with happiness. "Hey Cynthia, is she awake yet?" I heard a male voice yell from the hall. "Is that Keegan?" I asked, my mind still in sleep mode, so to speak. "Come on, Cynth, let us know!" "Yeah, we thought we heard her!" Two more voices joined. Brian and Tim! "Guys, relax!" Cynthia yelled. "Okay, Vi, we really need to get you cleaned up," my sister said, looking at me with her dark blue eyes. I nodded in agreement as I walked over to my closet; Cynthia's right, these pajamas do NOT look good. "Thank God, it's in here," I whispered to myself as I picked up my favorite band shirt, a black short-sleeve with the Hollywood Undead dove and grenade on it. "Violet, could you please be girly...just this once?" Cynthia asked as soon as she saw the shirt. "Eh, fine, but just for you," I replied, laughing as I slid on the shirt and light blue jeans. "Happy now?" I joked as I put on my boots. "Yeah, sure," I heard Cynthia reply as I walked in front of the mirror. "Holy shit, I look awful," I said to myself as I studied every facial detail. "Vi, relax, you look lovely," Cynthia hugged me as I ran a brush through my hair. "Come on Cynth, we gotta go, or else the guys will break the door down," I laughed as I walked down the hall and was attacked with hugs. "VIOLET!" "WE MISSED YOU!" "WHY THE FUCK DO GIRLS TAKE SO LONG TO GET READY?!" Brian, Tim, and Keegan yelled. "Guys, relax, you're crushing me...and Keegan, how the fuck would I know?" I laughed, breaking free of their arms. I reached up and hugged everyone individually, but got somewhat nervous when Keegan suddenly threw his arms around me. I looked over and saw Cynthia smirking, so I flipped her off. Huh, Keegan smells really fucking good. "Ahem, Violet, I'm missing my hug over here," Cynthia said playfully, still smirking. "Oh, fuck off, you got two hugs before we walked out here," I laughed. "Ugh, we got school tomorrow," Tim said with a sigh as he sat down. "Well, don't get too comfortable, cause we're heading home now." Brian replied as he grabbed the keys off the table. "Now, who's sitting where?"
Um, I guess I'll sit in the back," I said with a shrug as we all walked towards the van. "Tim and I will take the middle row then," Cynthia said with a slight smile as she flipped the seat down so I could get in. I glanced over at Tim and noticed that he was blushing. Ah, if they both realized they loved each other. As I climbed in, I was so distracted by my thoughts that I accidentally bumped into Keegan, who was apparently sitting in the back as well. I would have fallen, but luckily, Keegan caught me before I hit the floor of the van. "Just kiss, lovebirds," Brian laughed, looking back at us in the mirror. "Piss off Babyface, we aren't even together," I smirked as I sat down and buckled my seatbelt, accidentally brushing against Keegan's hand in the process. "Uh-huh, sure," Tim said sarcastically, glancing back as well. "Come on, Vi, it'll happen soon enough, ya know," Cynthia giggled. Choosing to ignore her, I put my earbuds in and let Hollywood Undead fill my ears. Fuck, I feel tired, even though I had coffee when I woke up. I need to keep myself awake...or at least half-awake. I turned the volume up and changed the song to Party by Myself; it's a good song to keep people up. After 3 and a half minutes of upbeat party music, the song changed to something much slower, and I felt my eyelids slowly closing. Shit...well, at least I'll be fully rested for when I get home.
