There is a place where all the things of legend live and thrive. These myths were once truth, and now they are nothing more than a fairytale. I thought they were all nonsense, and the creations made for explanations of things we knew nothing of at the time. I was so very wrong, I say this because I guess I am now a myth. A truth covered by exaggerations and stretching of the truth. A year ago I discovered that I am apart of this world. This world is so beautiful but I can only tell this little book I hold in my hands. No human can ever know my world, if they did the fate of my child would be the same as mine. Though mine is not particularly bad in a way it is worse than most. I want so very much to explain this place to my friends and my family most of all I wish I could explain it to him. There is so much to tell you my little book. You are now my only friend
How do I explain it to you? I guess I'll start from the beginning and come back to explain my new home.
Chapter 2 THE INEVITABLEThe moon is bright and all knowing; she runs over the boundary line. The wind blows violently, and the trees voices quieter than a forbidden whisper wish her luck in the human world and tell her they will miss her so. She cries as she runs through the place she once called home, past the place she took her first steps, over the stream she played in as a child, and she crosses where her world was and where ours begins. Amacillia is her name. She whispers goodbye to her parents and she says "witch of all lands! I'm here and I wish to be in the human world so that I may marry and stay with the man I love." The witch appears beautiful and young from all the bargains of souls in which is her fountain of youth is made. She asks Amacillia " You wish to be in the human world? Dear Amacillia what do you have to give me?" She cackles a laugh that challenges the sanity of such an idea of leaving the forest. Amacillia continues unwavering in her intentions to leave; she repeats "I wish to be in the human world." The witch thinks for a moment and spits the words at Amacillia. " I demand that your half blood child will come to the forest at the age of seventeen and they will take the place that was meant for you Amacillia. That is not all though, your child will be put through a test soon after and if she doesn't pass, or comes to me for a bargain herself the price will be her soul. If you are willing to make this sacrifice give your hand to me." Amacillia hesitantly reaches her hand out. The witch snatches it quickly, with speed unseen by human eyes she slices a symbol into Amacillia's hand. The voices of the forest join in with the witch's chant. "moons passed and moons to come will see her far from home. Take her to the human land where she may roam and live her days till the last when home again she shall be." Amacillia feels the magic she once had fade along with the memories of her life.....
Chapter 3 OCACIAThat is the winding road that lead to me being here where my mother once stood I guess I should explain how I found out this would be happening.... here goes nothing....
A typical night the moons shines bright and a family sits happily at home. Balloons cover the mailbox and make an arch over a large patio. A bright colored banner says HAPPY 17TH OCACIA! I had walked in that day everything had seemed to be in the right place. My childhood friend Noah walks beside me. We stop just before the door. I'll never forget the last words I heard him speak. He squared his shoulders and looked at me for a moment and said "Ocacia we've been friends since I can remember but I want more, that is if you do.... I don't want to push it but I have been in love with you for at least a few years. I can't think of anyone more perfect for me." All I did was smile and lean in to hug him. We stood that way for a few minutes, and then I grabbed his hand and we walked through the door. That was when my world of simple things ended. The room's atmosphere changed and my mother was crying. She pressed a few things into my arms before a woman appeared in the room. "On our way we must be Ocacia." The room was chaotic and confused expressions were worn across the room except my mother she hugged me and with that I backed out. I woke up in a small house. Then the witch welcomed me to my new home.
Chapter 4 Now
This takes us to where I'm at now the witch told me the story of my mother. Now I live in this land if fairy tales and miss my home, my family and him. My mother was half witch and half of a centaur. She had the ability to choose forms as I do now. This world has trees of many colors they talk to me as they talked to my mother, flowers aren't flowers at all they are small sprites, there are curses in all directions, and dragons lairs rest on top of mountains. Legend here is the world I came from. How I am to return to the home I love I don't know. Several days have gone by and I wonder about my family. As I'm writing about them a tree calls to me a human! Ocacia he is looking for you. Go! Hurry before the witch finds him. As she runs through the trees they tell her when to turn. She skids to a stop when she sees Noah. He looks over at the snap of a branch and sees her. He runs over to her and hugs her. "Noah what are you doing here? I missed you so much. How's my mom and the rest of my family?" "Ocacia I missed you to, and they are fine. Your mom told me everything and we tried to find a way to send her here but we couldn't." " Well how did you get here then Noah?" He pauses a moment to give it thought and then he says " Your parents and mine had a long talk. It turns out my mom knows about this place. She asked me if I was willing to go with the possibility of not returning. I love you too much to give up on you. " The forest grows dark and Ocacia hears the witch call out to her. She hides Noah in the trees and returns to her.
