"You know I've got a lot of respect for a woman in charge." said Agnolo Genovese, head of the notorious Genovese family.

"Mmm...is that right?" Mumbled the Iron Queen, ruthless leader of the Royal Fleet gang.
She leaned back in her chair and shot a venomous smile toward Genovese.

He let out a nervous laugh.
"Course I do, it's why I asked you here." he motioned his hand around the dimly lit, windowless conference room.

"You asked me to this trash heap of an office because you respect a women with power? Is that all?" She said in a cool tone.

"Well no-"

"Then get on with it, your already wasting my time."

Genovese let out a sigh and poured himself some wine. "You and I are gettin up there in years, I'm 49 going on 50 and your..." he motioned his glass at her while he thought, then after a few moments of silence he let out a laugh.
"Well God knows how old you are!"

He stopped laughing after he noticed the Queens expression, then added "But you look very lovely for being whatever age you are."

"Cut to the chase." She said sternly.

"Alright, alright, word on the street is that your daughters next in line when you resign, yeah?"

"That's correct."

"Well my son Stefan is taking over after I'm gone."

"So?"

"So you've got a daughter and I've got a son; why not have them meet and uh, if all goes well...perhaps we could create one big family."

"You want to join families?" The Queen said incredulously.

"I think it would be a good investment for both of us, I mean, we're in charge of the two most powerful groups in this city. If we were to join forces, we'd be unstoppable." He said with a hint of excitement.

The Queen paused for a moment. "As I recall, you've got two sons Genovese. Twins right?"

"Pssh...yeah they are." He said nonchalantly.

"So why am I only hearing about one of them? Aren't both of them equal candidates to take your place?"

Genovese let out a laugh, "Hardly! The one I want your daughter to meet is my pride and joy. He'll be the best boss this families ever had, after me of course."

"And the other?" The Queen asked curiously.

The smile disappeared from his face. "He's too kind hearted for this line of work. Practically a disgrace to the family, I can barely stand the sight of him. But he's not relevant to the situation at hand, what do you say your Highness?
Would you like to join forces?"

The Iron Queen sat quietly for a while. Then, "I'll talk to my daughter, if she's willing to go through with it then, so be it."

And without another word she rose gracefully from her seat and made her way to the large oak doors.

As she was reaching for the handle she heard the familiar "click" of a gun being cocked.

"You know I really hate to do this to a woman but, I'm gonna need an answer now." said Genovese softly. "You've played me for a fool too many times before, this time I came prepared. Now, answer me."

The Queen let out a bored sigh then, slowly raised one hand over her head and snapped her fingers.

Not even a second later two shots rang out on the other side of the door.

"What the hell was that?" said Genovese angrily.

"That was the sound of my snipers shooting your men through the heart." she said coolly.

"But that's impossible, I made sure that there were no windows, there's no way they could have made that shot!" He said in confusion.

"Just because there're no windows doesn't mean I can't use thermal sensing. Call me when your on my level Genovese.
As for the joining of our families, you'll get an answer when I give you an answer." The Queen winked at him and whispered "Long live the Genovese."

With that she waltzed out of the room, stepping carefully over the dead guards and left Genovese in a state of pure rage.
