"People who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."

"Oh, it was just my annoying roommate." I reply. He nods. "Just making sure." We were walking to a nearby place. There was no need for polluting the air when we were so close to the place. What? Earth is going to be a horrible place (who said it already hadn't?) if we keep on dumping garbage on our land and polluting the air. We as humans need to-
"So, tell me about yourself Kendall." Randall's voice interrupts my thoughts. I tilt my head to my right slightly.
"Where do I start?" I ask. Randall's hand continues to intertwine with mine. "You can start with your family or childhood. I don't really care."
He coughs into his open hand, as if he had said something wrong. "I mean I do care, but you can start anywhere you like."
Randall and I smile as I tell him about myself. "I have four brothers in total. One of them is in high school, while the others are away with their family. My mom lives with Tommy, the one that goes the high school. And my da-" I shake my head. "Never mind."
Randall lets go of my hand and opens the door of the breakfast place. I didn't even notice that we already arrived. I guess we walked fast then. Or I talk slow, I don't know.
He gestures for me to enter, beaming broadly. He really had an amazing smile, something I couldn't help but admit.
I smile along with him. Randall follows me through the door once I enter. I loved this place, it smelled like my mom's cooking. My stomach starts to growl, despite the apple I had earlier.
My face flushes, hoping no one heard that. "Hunger taking over?" Randall chuckles. I guess he heard then. "Yeah, I didn't have much of a breakfast."
Randall nods. "I didn't either. I had to help my friend with something." We sit down, but I don't use the menu since I get the same thing every time I come here.
"I'll have the usual." I tell the waiter nonchalantly. He nods and gestures to Randall. "And what would you like sir?" It felt weird, considering that Randall and the waiter was about the same age. Well, I guess it didn't mean that he couldn't use his manners.
"I'll have the special." Randall says, staring at me the entire time. I refused to back down, so I continue his stare. The waiter notices our staring contest and he walks away awkwardly with his small pad for orders.
I bite my lip from laughing since the waiter almost tripped over when someone from a nearby table stuck their foot out purposely. What's surprising was that I saw all of this out of the corner of my eye, since I was still staring intensively at Randall.
I take this moment of staring to really admire all of his features. His brown hair was artfully ruffled on the top, as if he had woke up. Which he probably did, since it was morning. Randall's light brown eyes were perfect. He had a sharp jaw line and perfect lips. He reminded me someone.
Randall slightly smiles and breaks our silence. I frown, wanting to continue staring at his flawless face. "Kendall."
I break out of my trance. "Yeah?" Randall leans over the table, just as he had when he was at Starbucks. His muscles were showing up through his thin shirt.
"Wanna go on a date with me?" What? I had just met him. I'm also not very good with dates...and in general guys...but was this considered a date anyways?
" Um...no. I'm sorry, we just met and I want to start slow even if we do become someth-" Randall sits back down, laughing. I make a puzzled look. Was this suppose to be funny?
Randall notices my confused face. "I was just messin' with you. I wouldn't date someone I just met, even though they're beautiful. Plus, you blinked, so I win." He winks at me. I blush and look down.
"Don't look down Kendall. You have too much of a pretty face to not show it." I look up and glare at him playfully. He puts his hands up in surrender. "Woah. I was kidding!" He laughs and I join in.
The smell of food enters my nose as Randall and I continue to talk about our lives. We found out that we both like all of the same things. The waiter serves us our food and strides away to a different table after we thank him.
Randall dives into his food, hungry for breakfast. I do the same and I swallow down my food. As I eat, I see Randall steal small glances at me, while I mimic his actions. I just can't stop looking at Randall! What is my problem today...this reminds me of Jackson. With his flawless face and-
What the fuck Kendall, stop thinking about Jackson. Even though he's basically perfect. Ah! Stop!
I finish up my much needed breakfast and say, "I'll pay, Randall." He stands up with some food on the corner of his lips. "Most certainly not! A true gentlemen pays for the lady!" He declares loudly.
People from other tables were looking over to us and whispering. I slap Randall on his arm. "Chivalry is dead! Weirdo." I mean, weird is different right? And different is...good?
Randall bows down. "Thank you, thank you very much." I laugh and pull out a twenty dollar bill and set it on the table. Randall stops me and hands me back the money and throws down his own twenty dollar bill.
I shrug. "I guess you'll pay then." He laughs. "You'll owe me that twenty later." I stare at him. "What?"
Randall laughs. "I'm kidding Kendall. Jeez, you're so gullible." I give him my best death glare. "Aw, you look cute when you're trying to glare at me." He rubs his arm when I punch him.
"Meanie." He grumbles.
"That is my middle name." I smile. Randall laughs. "Yeah right. You can't hurt my feelings."
I smirk at him. "Do you wanna bet on that?" He grins broadly. "Give me you're best shot Princess."
Placing my finger on my chin, I grin. "I think.. that you're a failed abortion.. who's birth certificate is an apology from a condom factory."
Randall's eyes widen and he puts his hands up in surrender quickly. "Holy shit, never mind." He then mutters, "Jeez, you can be a savage if you want to."
I slap his hard chest. "I'm kidding again." He chuckles. We both stand up and leave the breakfast place, and I get to the door first.
This time, I open the door. "Ladies go first," I joke as Randall walks past. "Oh, thank you kind sir for opening the door!" He says in a high pitched voice.
Randall laughs as I do. He places an arm around my shoulders and we both walk back to my apartment, talking about favorite things.
"What's your favorite kind of...pizza?" He asks, and when I tell him it's pineapple, he gasps. "That's my favorite too!"
We both shake our heads and laugh, as I open up the door. "I guess I'll see you later."
He waves and smiles.
"See ya."

Sup. This chapter is kinda useless but hey, I wanted to update the story.
Speaking of stories, I'm making this new one called "Only Us - A Duo". It's kinda like a remake of this story, but a bit different I guess.
I'm also shutting this story down in a couple weeks. Well, maybe.
So yeah.
Sorry for those who actually liked this. Please share the new story with your friends though!
So, I guess I'll see you guys later then.
