Chapter 20

Emiko

I was sitting on my bed in the dorm when I suddenly heard a crash in the distance. I looked out my window and saw smoke a few blocks from the edge of town. I ran out my door and yelled for Erza and Wendy and they bolted out of their rooms in pajamas. "What is it, Emiko?" She asked as I darted down the stairs before heading out the front door, both of them keeping up with me. "There's something going on a few blocks in town. There was an explosion or something." I explained. "But, why would something happen this late in the evening?" I heard Wendy cry out.

We continued to run towards town and Erza transformed into her Flame Empress armor and headed off ahead of us. I put a couple of fingers to my temple and spoke telepathically to her. "Maybe 3 blocks from the edge of town. I saw smoke from that direction. It looked like it might have been someone going towards Fairy Hill so it might be one of our girls in trouble." "I see, thank you for informing me, Emiko." As Wendy and I were starting the near the place, we heard a feminine scream and we moved faster.

Lucy

"Why do you always break into my house, Natsu?" I asked him. I had left the guild earlier and stopped by the grocery store after remembering I need to buy some food. When I finally got to my apartment, my window was completely open and when I walked in my door, I heard Natsu and Happy. "I wanted to see you, Luce." He said and I sighed. "Natsu, you just saw..." I was interrupted by a high pitch scream and I recognized it as rage from one of the girls. Suddenly, I felt a dark aura in the air and the scent of a demon was prominent, telling me who just screamed. "Natsu, come on." I shouted before running back out my door and summoning my dragon wings. I flew ahead, zooming through the sky towards the direction I heard her. Hold on a little longer. I'm coming to help.
