Curiosity Killed The Cat

Edwin:

He was a valiant cat. He had yellowish fur, and bright blue eyes. He slept silently on the leather couch. Edwin heard a noise, and suddenly opened his eye, and lifted his ears. "Not today Whiskers". Edwin purred. "Im just getting cheese, yeesh". Whiskers ran back to his mouse hole. Edwin went back to his nap.

Edwin heard the door open. "Hello Edwin. What you been doing"? Elyssa his owner said. He purred. He loved Elyssa. Edwin lay on her lap, as she stroked his fur. Edwin went back to sleep. Elyssa was a college student. She studied to be a veterinarian. She especially loved cats, mostly Edwin.

Whiskers laughed silently, he had put a ball of yarn under his pillow. He'll never find it now... Whiskers looked out of his hole, waiting for Edwin to find out. "Edwin"! Whiskers shouted. "Theres a rat next to you"! He screamed, noticing that he was a mouse, but im not a rat- rats live outside mice live inside. Whiskers ears twitched.

Edwin already knew his plan. Whiskers ran to him. Since he didn't wake up with all of the commotion. Edwin leaned closer to him. Whiskers backed up. Whiskers was beginning to get closer to Elyssa. Suddenly Elyssa saw the mouse. "AHHH RAT"! She screamed and ran to her room. Edwin was awake the whole time and laughed. "Well played kitten, well played." Whiskers walked angrily into his hole.

Edwin narrowed his eyes at Whiskers. Whiskers scurried along. "Well that does it M.O.U.S.E is a big fail"! Whiskers said to his manager. "Mice Over Under Slightly Everthing, is not a fail, Whiskers". His manager Jared said. "Edwin Is smarter than you think sir"! Whiskers shouted. "Well he ain't smart enough for Eclipseo". The manager said. "But-". Whiskers tried to reason with him. "No, Whiskers"! Jared said. "I know you and that cat are most likely to become friends , he needs to be destroyed." Jared said.

Whiskers was nervous. Eclipseo, why do you have to be summoned. Whiskers ran to Edwin amd told him everything. "M.O.U.S.E"? Edwin laughed. "Mice Out Under Slightly Everything". Whiskers said. Edwin stared at him witha serious expression on his face, and then laughed out loud.
Whiskers rolled his eyes and warned him about Eclipseo. "Is he in the lunar eclipse"? Edwin asked giggling. "No he is a mouse like me, the only exception here is that he is dangerous."! Whiskers looked down. "You mice want to destroy me"? Edwin asked. "Yes, Jared is not satisfied with my work". Whiskers said running around. "Ha, you can't even catch me you mouse"! Edwin laughed harder than before.

Elyssa suddenly noticed the mouse hole in the wall. "At least I got you here, right Edwin"? She petted him, he purred. Edwin jumped off the couch and peeked through the hole. "Whiskers, im gonna eat you"! He said smiling. "Just playing, I dont eat mice, they are repulsive". Edwin walked away. "What do you mean you don't eat mice"? Elyssa shut her mouth. "I know you understand me so stop trying to hide it". Edwin said. Elyssa stared at him wth amazement.
