Paige's POV

It has been a week since I tried to commit suicide and was on many medications. I was diagnosed with anxiety, social anxiety and, clinical bi-polar depression. I was suppose to stay on the medications for a month but how could I? I didn't want to. I sat at Wesley's house gazing out the window, excused from school until the month is up and that is when I felt something poking me. I raise an eyebrow and feel around my pockets. I feel a piece of paper and take it out, yellowed with age. I sigh and unfold it my eyes widening.

"Way up in the sky, the moon shines so bright, the Gods all asleep tonight. But one will awaking, choosing its pray, as bad omen fills their morning luck. They all shall die, around them they'll fall, only them standing tall. The Moon Gods will awaken when the chosen one is chosen."

"What the fuck!?" I squeal. Sweat starts to bead up and I frantically get things together. This can't be happening. How did my mothers stories come true!? The Moon Gods are real!? I rip my hands through my hair as I panic. Thoughts reel as everything seems to quicken and I begin to hyperventilate. Images start to fill my head of something that looks nothing like today. Buildings destroyed, everyone dead but the citizens of the moon and the moon gods ruling. I can't handle the imagery and scream. I scream as loud as I can. I collapse to the ground, knees up to my chest, back arched and gasping for breath. I hear a door open and I look, horrified, to see my dead beat father and Wesley's mother in the door way.

"Paige! Sweetie!" my dead beat father smirks and I break. I start to cry and yell.

"GET HIM O-OUT OF HERE!" I scream, not wanting what happened to my mother to happen to me.

"Aw, Paigie! Don't you want to see your father!?" He shuffles over and puts me in a tight hug but a little too tight for comfort. I cry harder as he pets my head, knowing I'm going to lose.

"I'll take her back. Thank you for watching over her. Losing her mother must've been devastating to her." I can hear how fake the apology was. I use my eyes and plead with Wesley's mother to keep me here and don't let me go with him but It didn't work.

"Any time Mr.?..."

"Just call me Dean." He smiles. She smiles and shakes his hand as I am pushed out the door. I struggle to go back but Dean keeps his hand on my arm. I start screaming and yelling and I hear Wesley's car drive up. I get an idea and run from Dean screaming. I hear the doors slam and running. I wobble down the stairs to see Wesley looking up at me. I run at him, hugging him tightly and sobbing and blubbering.

'What's wrong!? I heard your screaming..." Wesley tightly hugs me back and he looks up and curses under his breath.
