Mae's POV
Great first day of school and I'm already late.
I ran as fast as I could to school before the gates
closed. If the gates close you won't be able to get
in the school. That's the rules. I've never been late
to school before but it seems today I will be late.
I arrived only to see the gates close. "No!" I ran up to
entrance. Locked. "No, no, no! I can't be locked out!"
I kicked some rocks across the grass angrily. "Thanks
a lot mother..." I said to myself. I turned around to walk home
when I heard someone call my name. "Hey Mae, need help
getting in?" I turned around to see a girl with red hair and golden eyes.
