Shyle’s POV
New Home, new Life. Haaaay. Bat ba kasi kailangan pa naming lumipat dito sa Manila. Nahiwalay tuloy ako sa mga friends ko from Bulacan. Well, the house is great. The neighbors are all hospitable and kind. This place is perfect. Im looking forward for somewhat exciting scenarios to happen. Yep, Im excited to meet new friends, to see my new school, to decorate my new room in our new house, to explore nearby places, basta, I have a lot of plans to be done. ‘The first guy friend im gonna make here, is the one who is destined to me’, I told myself. Yeah, I believe in such things like fairytales, happy endings, luck, soulmates and destinies.
“Bro, pahiram muna ng Bike ha? Maglilibot lang sa buong subdivision. Sama ka?”
“You don’t even know how to use a bike but youre borrowing it? Hahaha. Sige gamitin mo na. Mag ingat ka nalang. No, im not in the mood to look around. Marami pang aayusin dito. “
“Alright then. Gotta go. ^_^”
Yes. I don’t even know how to use this. Kaya binitbit ko nalang sya. Baka mabunggo pa ko or ako ang makabunggo. Habang naglalakad ako, I was amazed by the houses Ive seen. I also saw a house that looks like a doll house. Damn, the owners have a very classy taste huh? Ang yayaman ng mga tao dito.
There’s a house that really caught my attention, that was my dream house.. And im very very amused by it. I love everything about it. Including that guy on the veranda. He’s like half Filipino, half American. No wonder why he’s house are so huge and only ellite people can have. Whew! He’s a lucky man. Beautiful house, and a beauteous face. Nasayo na ang lahat. Hahaha.
Nagstart na kong maglakad ulit pauwi. Saka ko na lilibutin yung buong subdivision at napapagod nako. 12 noon na din at sobrang init na sa daan.
*Clang clang clang*
Shet! Ice Cream. May dumating na nagtitinda ng dirty ice cream. I remember na favourite namin to ng mga friends ko at lagi kaming bumibili nito nung nasa Bulacan pa ko. I really miss them.
“Manong, pabili ako. “ iniabot ko na kay Manong yung bayad ko. I am about to eat my ice cream when someone tapped my arms causing my ice cream to fell on the ground. Damn. Who the hell did that?
“Pabili din po ako. I want this, this, and this.”
Nagulat ako. Si Tisoy yun ah. Yung poging nakatira dun sa dream house ko. At yung nagtapon ng ice cream ko.
“Ano ba yan? Ang clumsy mo naman. Tingnan mo, natapon tuloy yung ice cream ko oh. Mag iingat ka naman minsan.”
“Oh Im really sorry! I didn’t mean to.” Jusko, ang pogi nya pag malapitan. “Kuya, bayad ko po.” At nag abot sya ng 10 bucks kay Manong.
“Ah sir, wala po ba kayong Philippine peso? Kahit 100pesos po.”
“Im so stupid. Sorry, pero wala eh. Hindi ba pwede yang dollars? Ah wait here, I will get my money inside, and I will pay you. Wait here.”
“Hey! No need. Manong, eto na po yung bayad nya. Another ice cream nga po, natapon kasi yung kanina.” At nag abot ng another set of ice cream si Manong.
There’s no point to be mad to Mr Tisoy for murdering my ice cream a while ago. Its just an icecream, it was an accident. And yeah, ganun ako kabait. And besides, im just new here. I better make friends, rather that enemies. Right?
Paalis na sana ko nung bigla akong hinabol ni Tisoy.
“Im really sorry kanina. Sorry sorry. And thank you so much for paying my ice cream. I will repay you, wait here.” I grabbed his arm dahil hindi ko naman na kailangan bayaran. It was okay for me.
“No. Its fine. Treat ko na sayo yan.” I am about to leave when he grabbed my arms.
“Hey Wait. How about giving you a tour on our house? You seems to like it! What is your name by the way?”
“How did you know? Im Shyle, and you are?”
“I can tell and I just know. ^_^ I saw the way you look on the house, its kinda funny to see youre *WOW* expression with sparkling eyes, you know? And yeah, im Vince. Nice to meet you.”
“Is it fine? Well, its Cool. That would be awesome.”
This is Greaaattt. Kanina, tinitingnan at pinapangarap ko lang sya. Ngayon, maeexplore ko pa yung loob. Im so lucky. Nahawaan ako ng pagka-lucky ni Mr Tisoy.
“Yeah. It is also my way to repay you. Let’s Go inside.”
At pumasok na nga kami sa loob. Ang dami nilang maids. Bakit kaya hindi nalang yun yung pinabili nya ng ice cream kanina? Maybe dahil sa iba yung culture nya? Half American kasi eh. Unlike ditto si Pilipinas, basta may katulong, uutusan ng uutusan at katulong kung katulong ang treatment.
Ang ganda ng furnitures. Kahit saan ako lumingon, halatang expensive lahat eh. Big time talaga si Mr. Tisoy. Just WOW.
“This is such a very nice place. What a lovely home.”
“Well thanks.. Kakauwi ko lang this morning dito sa Pinas. May bahay din kasi kami sa US so yun. You can tell naman that Im half blooded, right?”
“Yup. I can see that. Well, really? Kakalipat lang din namin ng family ko dito this morning. Sa Bulacan kami naka’locate talaga, but for some reasons, we decided to move here in Manila.”
“Nice. Eh bat nasa galaan ka na kagad kung kakadating nyo palang?”
“Galaan talaga? Inexplore ko lang yung buong subdivision. Hindi ako gumagala no. And there. I saw youre house na napakaganda. Kaya ako napadpad dito.”
“I see. So I guess, the new girl found her first new friend in me.” Then he laugh.
So cute. That laugh can move every girls heart once you saw it. Then I remember what Ive told to myself, ‘The first guy friend I will make here, is the one who is destined to me.’ Ang sarap isipin. Sana nga. ^__^
“Hello, My newly Found friend.” I replied with a huge smile with a thoughts that he’s my destiny. LOL
We had a long conversation, shared stories with each other. Its like I knew him for so long. He’s quite funny, and intelligent.. I will admit it, he is a work of art. Double H. hot and handsome. Whew!
“Earlier, I told myself that the first girl im gonna see when I got here in the Philippines will be the person im gonna be with for the rest of my life. And then, I found you. It is just funny that this house is the reason why are paths crossed unexpectedly. And also, the icecream.. But maybe not the icecream, bumili lang naman ako dahil bumili ka din. So maybe, it really is the House. Hahaha.”
He told me in the middle of nowhere. Ofcourse, im schocked. What do you expect? Im speechless.
“What? Youre shocked? Hahaha. Don’t worry, yes, ive told it in myself, but that doesnt mean that it is destined to happen, like it will happen for real. But Im happy to be your friend now.”
“Earlier, I also told myself that the first guy that will be my friend here, is the one who is destined to me. So I guess, it is not just a coincidence that we’ve met. Maybe, Its Just Meant to Be.”
