While her grandparents sob over her parents and her aunt tried to contact her other family members, Harley sits with her cousin, Jackson. "What are we going to do." Spoke the girls grandmother. "You know we can barely afford to live here now. Let alone having another child to feed."
"I'm sorry." Spoke the saddened child.
"No I'm sorry. We will have to put you up for adoption." The grandfather said with pity in his eyes.
"I understand, but can you please keep Taylor?" Harley said.
"Sure. And well even let him stay inside." The aunt spoke.
"Thanks aunt Cindy. I'm going to miss all of you."
"We'll call the social services and arrange something, you go get some sleep. You've had a long day. Go sleep in Jackson's room."

She woke up to Jackson shaking her. "Come on Harley. The social service worker will be here in two hours. I don't want you to leave but there's nothing we can do now, please get up."
She rolled out of bed and walked into the bathroom. She hopped in the shower and started to wash herself.
When she was done, she rapped herself in a towel and got dressed. She decided to go with something she would usually never wear and she wore a dress.

She put her long dark brown hair into a fishtail braid and slipped on some black flats. As she looked at the clock she saw that the social service worker would be here any minute. She grabbed her suitcase and purse and walked into the living room.
"Hello Harley, my name is Mrs. Carley. This young man already signed the paper so we can leave. Now say a quick goodbye. We need to get going." She said with a smile on her face.
She quickly gave everyone a hug and said goodbye. As she walked to the door Jackson gave her a box with a note attached. "Open it in the car." She hugged him again then left.
