Cody’s P.O.V

                I still can’t believe that I saw Ella yesterday at Starbucks, what’s shocked me the most is that she seems like she doesn’t know me… I know I hurt her but I was hurt too, it wasn’t only her… Fair play, she still the same Ella, pretty brown eyes apart from her hair it looks a bit shorter not that short and it ha goldish tip.

                                 ‘’Hey babe’’ I voice a girl said and I crane my neck on the side to look at her. Leron of course, I’ve been dating her two weeks after Ella and I broke up. I did it for her; I don’t want her to get hurt because of me. That’s the only choice I know. But the guilt is eating me; whenever I close my eyes I see her face, the tears the streams down her face the day I left her. The look on her eyes when I told her it was over. It hurts… a lot.

                  ‘’hey’’ I replied smiling at her. She leaned in for a peck on the lips and sat next to me. Her kiss is nothing like Ella’s… Why is she on my head? Shouldn’t I be happy because I think, I think  I’m over her now… I’ll just pretend that I’m over her now. Leron makes me happy…. But was it enough? It wasn’t, it’s not enough… Ella, Ella, Ella.. My mind keeps repeating her name, but over the past year, her name and face is not on my mind but ever since yesterday she’s stuck there.  I miss her; I miss us even though there’s no us anymore. Leron is just… is Leron, she makes me happy and I’m cool with that, mum doesn’t like her that much but as I keep saying ‘it’s my relationship not yours’   I was actually going to say hi to her last night but when I saw her, she’s hugging another guy… she moved on and so did I.

                        ‘’I wanna go to Starbucks, can you come with me?’’ She asked me pulling out her puppy face and I smiled at her.

             ‘’Sure’’ I said and we both went to the Starbucks where I saw her. Hoping that she’s there… what? I shouldn’t be thinking that, it’s wrong

Ella’s P.O.V

                  . As the day went by, luckily for me and Lance we don't have a shift today so we both decided to study at my place. Charlie is at Mrs. Ross and parents are out.

         ‘’Hey, how about let’s study in Starbucks?’’ Lance suggested and I agreed with him. We both made our way to the Starbucks and sat on the corner

             "You told your mum about seeing Cody last night? " Lance asked. I let go off my pen and put it gently on my book and sigh.

             "yup, mum is like my therapist so yeah" I breathed out and he nodded.

               "why pretend babe?" he asked and I shrugged.

                 "it's the only way Lance, pretending is the only way to forget him. If I pretended that I didn't know him, it could help me" I sigh
