Tamara's P.O.V

"I just don't understand what's got you so busy all the time. Why can't you be at home for dinner some nights? It ain't that damn busy in that restaurant." I said to Terrence as he walked into the house at almost two o'clock in the morning.

"Don't start this tonight T. I'm not in the mood to be arguing about unnecessary shit, I was at work." He said grabbing his towel and going into the bathroom.

"I don't believe you." I said following him in the bathroom as he stripped down and turned the shower on.

"Well I don't know what to tell you. I've given you no reason not to trust me, so why you acting all insecure all of a sudden?" He said trying to flip the situation on me,

"Shut up Terrence it's not any type of insecurity that's causing me to not trust you. It's your sneakiness that's stopping me from believing what you say to me right now.

I thought about how for the past few months it's been the same pattern with him and I try not to think the worst but a woman knows when something isn't right in their household.

"Whatever man. Can I just take a shower in peace?" He sighed like I was irritating him.

"Yea I'll leave you in peace. And you can also be in peace tonight on that couch, where you will be sleeping tonight." I said walking out of the bathroom closing the door.

"Yea alright." I heard him say through the door.

I got in the bed and laid down, making sure to throw his pillows on the foot of the bed so he can grab them on his way out.

As I laid there just staring at the wall I thought about how unhappy I've been. It's like the love hasn't been there for so long and I'm just settling.

A few minutes later as I gathered my thoughts Terrence came out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.

I watched him put his underwear and basketball shorts on all angry. And I honestly didn't care, I'm tired of being in a relationship that doesn't interest me.

"What are you doing. I said couch." I said looking at him like he was crazy as he tried to get in the bed with me.

"Tamara come on now you're being petty right now." He said looking irritated.

"No I'm not now couch." I said with a smirk.

"You know what. Fuck it I'll sleep on the couch." He said snatching the pillows and walking out of the room.

"I know you're going on that couch. Fuck you thought?" I mumbled as I laid back down.

I went to sleep thinking about how I was going to be able to be happy again like I once was.

****************

When I woke up I saw Terrence in our bathroom washing his face with nothing but a pair of basketball shorts on.

I fought my inner creep and just got up and went to start brushing my teeth, making sure to bump him while doing so.

"How long you going to play this game T?" He asked leaning against the counter on the side of me.

I just straight faced him through the mirror.

After finishing I started washing my face but was interrupted by him grabbing me by my waist and quickly spinning me around so that we were face to chest.

I looked up at him with a mean mug.

"Mug me all you want but I know you're not going to stay mad at me for long."

He then hugged me and wouldn't let go.

"Stop." I said feeling his hands travel from my waist to my ass.

"I'll stop, when you stop being mean to me." He said with a stupid grin on his face.

"I'm just tired of this Terrence. I really am and I don't know how much longer we will last if you don't start being honest with me."

I looked him straight in the eyes and I saw guilt in his. I shook my head and pushed him back some and proceeded to walk out the bathroom.

"Baby I-" I cut him off before he can say anything else.

"No! Don't talk to me until you are ready to tell me what's going on with you." I said with gritted teeth." I said refraining from yelling too loud because of our daughter in the other room.

I went into our bedroom and got out my clothes for the day. Which consisted of some maroon jeans and a cream colored top with my brown boots.

I didn't have to work today so i decided to spend it with my baby girl Marcy. Without her dumb ass daddy.

" Momma! Momma!" Marcy knocked on the door repeatedly.

Terrence walked out of the bathroom and opened the door for her, while i continued getting dressed.

"Morning to you too." He said picking her up and blowing on her stomach causing a fit of laughter to erupt from her.

"Momma!" she yelled after he sat her on our bed.

"Yes Marcy." i said sitting next to her making her crawl into my lap facing me.

She just waved at me and laughed making me smile.

"Your such a goofy girl. But Mommy loves you.." i cooed hugging her close to me.

"So you just going to leave Daddy all alone today?" Terrence asked her with a fake pout.

"Yes Dadda." She said clapping.

"Dang Babygirl, you just breaking Daddy's little heart." He fake cried making her stop clapping.

"Sorry Dadda. Luv you." She said looking up at him as he picked her up and sat her in his lap.

" Well I'm going to go do her hair and then get her dressed and we're leaving to have a mom and daughter day. So you can have fun by yourself all day today, which I know you won't because your'e going to be with whoever it is your'e with any other day." I fake smiled while leaving out our bedroom.
