Chapter 49

I was on the phone with my mom when Matthew started calling me. "Hey mom let me call you back Matthew's calling" i said.
"I thought he wasn't working today?" she asked.
"Yeah no he had to because he wasn't at work for almost a month and he has a lot to do." i said, i looked at the phone to see that Matthew hung up already. "Okay I'll let you go then i love you give me about thirty minutes and I'll be there to get Landon" she said. "Okay i love you to bye" i said and hung up.

I looked over at Landon playing with his toys and stood up I walked to the kitchen doorway, i watched him from the door way as i called Matthew, I filled up his bottle with apple juice and walked over to him Matt's phone went to voicemail. I tried again but it did the same thing. I put my phone down on the coffee table.

I lifted Landon up putting him in his bouncy letting him drink his apple juice. My phone started ringing and i answered it. "Hello?"

"I tried calling you" He said, he sounded stressed out.

"i was on the phone you didn't answer when i called you back" I said taking something from Landon, he started to pout his bottom lip and i gave him a 'don't' look he stopped and continued playing. "I went to the bathroom, reservation's at eight baby girl" He said, i honestly hated places like that, it's not that i didn't have anything nice to wear it's just i hate wearing dresses i always have.

"Okay" I said, this was the only time me and Matthews been out on a 'date' sense Landon's been born. "You okay baby girl?" He asks. "I swear the next person who asks me that i'ma kill" I said.

"Are you okay baby?" he asked, i smiled. "You can cancel the reservation or just go by yourself which do you prefer?" I ask. "Landon no" I said taking a piece of paper from him, not knowing how in the hell he keeps getting it. "What? No you are going weather you want to or not" He said.

"Not if you keep asking me if i'm okay" I said, someone knocked and i knew it was my mom, I opened the door still talking to Matthew. "I'll stop if you agree to go on a date with me" He said i heard him smirk and chuckled. "Do i have to?" I asked.

"Yes"

"Then i'll see you at seven" I said, my mom picked Landon up as my dad walked in. "One question?" I asked before he hung up. "Hum?"

"Do i have to dress formal or can i go normal" I asked chuckling because i made it rhyme. "No you can wear whatever you want baby girl" he laughed i let out a breath before saying. "Oh thank god, okay well my mom and dad are here i'll see you later" I said. "Alright love you baby girl bye"

"I love you too" I said and hung up. I walked over to them. "I'm gonna go get his things" I said, my mom hands Landon to my dad and goes to follow me upstairs. "Tell em bullshit".

"No, dad don't teach him that" I said, he's been trying for awhile bad thing is, is he almost said it until Matthew walked in. "Where is he taking you?" She asked as i opened his bedroom door, I shrugged. "I don't know, I'm guessing a restaurant because he said reservation" I said.

"Does he not know you don't like that kind of places?" She asked, i nod my head. "Yeah he does but it's not that bad to go once in a while i guess" I said, "Do you need me to bring little man home tomorrow"

"No Matthew's gonna pick him up, i gotta let him have a chance" I said, i put some extra cloths in his dipper bag and put his apple juice Matthew says he has to have, and some formula in his bag, i helped my mom carry the bags out to the car while my dad carried Landon.

"Drive safe" I said shutting my mom's door after hugging her. I walked around and hugged my dad.

"Will do" He said and shut his door he started the car and drove off i walked back inside and just sat there. I decided to just get ready at six because it's only one fifteen, I was getting bored and decided to take a nap for an hour or two.
