The Date

DAYA'S POV
Okay let me see it's a Friday morning. Hmm.. What to wear? I'll wear my high waisted jean shorts and a pink crop top that says forever in gold letters. I hear a knock it's probably Max asking if I'm ready for work. I was right.

Max: you ready Day?
Daya: yes I am.
Max: then let's go! We'll grab Starbucks on the way to work.
Daya: you read my mind! Off to Starbucks we go!

We get to Starbucks and Max goes through the drive through.

Max: what do you want?
Daya: I would like a vanilla bean frappe with three pumps of caramel.
Max: okay.

We get are drinks and the ride is silent. The only noise I the faint music and the sound of us slurping our drinks. I glance out of the window. I see a couple walking there dog am holding hands. What I would give to have a cute relationship like that.

Max: you okay?
Daya: yeah I'm fine. Just daydreaming.
Max: what about?
Daya: just my future. Who I'll get married to.
Max: well tonight we will see if I can be that man right?

OMG he just winked at me. My cheeks are so red right now.

Max: hey I was kidding! You what?
Daya: whatever! And what Maxine?
Max: you know you're cute when you blush?
Daya: fuck off!
Max: I'm serious.
Daya: whatever.
Max: hey look if anyone ever tells you different come to me. Okay?
Daya: okay.

We just did the fault in our stars thing. Now he's holding my hand.

Max: what has a guy never held your hand before? You're all tense.
Daya: yes, I've had a guy hold my hand!
Max: then loosen up.
Daya: okay
Max: we are here.

We get out of the car and he fm grabs my hand again. My cheeks have also gotten more red. Why am I so nervous?
Ugh! We walk up the stairs and into the offices. All I see when I walk through the door is Adam smiling from ear to ear.

Adam: I ship it!
Max:1
Adam: but it's true you guys are cute!
Max:2
Adam: please no! But I'm not taking it back.
Max:3 and run!

All I can do is laugh at Adam being chased by Max. Adam eventually gets to his office and locks the door.

Max: you gotta come outta there sometime today.

Adam just shake his head no. I laugh and walk into my office. I sit down at my desk and turn on the monitor. I go to pixel painters and start a game and my intro.

Daya: hey guys da_bomb is back with another episode of pixel painters. If you guys like this video and want more give this video a like and comment below what I should do for the themes next time I play. Today's first theme is bunnies. Okay let's see. I'll give it a chubby face with some kawaii eyes, a pink nose and some big ears. Cause bunnies have big ears. My time is up in ten seconds. Okay so time is up and off to voting. I'm gonna vote for this one cause they're the only one who did a bunny. Okay guys it's the last round and it's between me and the first one I voted for. Who will win? And I win!!! Yay!!!!! I'm the best!

So after recording pixel painters I go to sky's office to see what I'm doing next today. I'm doing a gmod episode with him, Ross ,and Barney.

We get done with that and it around 12 pm and I'm getting hungry. I ask Ross if he wants to go to the taco truck a couple blocks away and he agrees. I see him go over to Max and ask for money.

Daya: why did you get money from Max?
Ross: he's been paying for everyone's meals the past week.
Daya: Ross? Why is he doing that?
Ross: I don't know.
Daya: ROSS!
Ross: okay um I wouldn't let him date you when he asked if it was okay. He said he'd do anything for a date with you so I told him if he'd pay for everyone's lunch for a week he'd get his date with you.
Daya: go give him his money back now! Or else.
Ross: okay. I'll do it.

He walks over to Max who looks confused. Max looks at me and mouths thank you.

Ross: you happy?
Daya: yes I am. 
Ross: then let's go!

We start walking and I start a conversation with Ross.

Daya: so I hear you fancy Lucy?
Ross: yes and me and her are going on a date tomorrow.
Daya: good she's seems really nice Ross.
Ross: hey sis, in happy that of all the guys you picked. That you picked Max.
Daya: what do you mean?
Ross: well he's a good guy and I'm happy you like him.
Daya: thanks sloth.
Ross: I'm a narwhal!!
Daya: shut up I do not care!

We get finished eating and head back to the offices. I do the rest off my tasks and head home with Ross so I can get ready for my date.

We reach the house and I remembered that he said to wear something that I could hike in. I keep my shirts on and put on a black tee that says I hate running. And I put on some black vans. I tie my hair up into a messy bun and put on some waterproof mascara. I walk out into the living room and see Max is chilling in the couch.

Max: you ready?
Daya: yes I am Maxine.
Max: we're going to drive to a certain are and then hike the rest. okay?
Daya: okay.

We did it again!!! I wander where he's taking me? We get to a gravely area and he parks there and he gets out so I follow.

Max: it'll be about a 20 minute walk so get prepared for the burn.
Daya: okay I'm ready.

We walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk. Until I see a beautiful place. It's got these purple flowers and a big lake that is so blue. There's an area that is shaded with trees.

Max: I'll be right back.
Daya: okay.

I'm out here alone when all of a sudden these lights turn on. There in the trees and they're surrounding the lake on the sides. Under the shaded area is a picnic blanket. We go and sit down there and I break the awkward silence.

Daya: Max this is so pretty!
Max: a pretty place for a pretty girl for the perfect first date.
Daya: this is so pretty, but I thought we were going to go eat at like a restaurant or go see a movie?
Max: we were but I changed my mind when I thought of this place.
Daya: well thank you. I'm really happy you too me here.
Max: it's my pleasure.
Daya: well let's get to eating?

After we finished eating we head out by the lake and watch the stars.

Max: hey.
Daya: what?

I see him stand up.

Max: get up with me.
Daya: okay??
Max: trust me.

I stand up and I see him pull his phone out and he turns on some music.

Max: will you have this dance with me?
Daya: yes I will.

He takes my hand and we dance for like ten minutes. This is a great first date. I love it! It's about 10 pm. I yawned.

Max: okay I think that is a sign that means let's go home.
Day: yes it is, but I wish is wasn't. I could stay here all night.

After we get home I go to my room and slip into my pjs and climb into bed. I stayed there for not even a minute before my eyelids became heavy and I fell asleep.
