Chapter 26

Lilac's P.O.V

I looked around to see if the coast was clear, and sure enough, it was. I began running at the cornucopia, and it was full of things. It had better weapons. I looked at the diamonds encrusted sword, which shimmered when I took it out in the sun. Then I heard a shriek from behind me say, "ADAM!" I turned around, puzzled, and I saw Adam, dead on the ground, with Maria looking down at him with blood on her sword. ADAM SKYE: DEAD. Maria targeted Matt next, and she lunged at him, he tried hitting her with a spear, but he had bad aim, and she stabbed him with a small knife in the chest. He wasnt taken down yet, and he stabbed her with a sword on her arm,. She flinched and ran away. I looked at Matt and asked, "A-are you ok?" He looked at me as if I were blind. I knew it was a stupid question, when he was clearly bleeding to death right in front of me. "J-just kill me already." He stuttered holding his chest. "Don't say that, we need the help we can get to kill Maria." I said, hoping he'll accept my request. "I'm useless, and wounded, just kill me, do it!" He pleaded. I looked at him for a while, then I closed my eyes, and said, "Whatever you say." Then I stabbed him with my sword. He stayed silent, until I knew he was dead. MATTHEW NOOCH: DEAD. All of a sudden, I felt something push me to the ground, then I saw Jason on top of me holding a small knife, oh shit! I pushed him off and took out my small knife too. "We don't have to do this.....we can team up to kill Maria." I pleaded looking at him. "Forget about it Lilac." He said glaring at me. Then he lunged at me once more, but I didn't hit the ground, it took me some time to realize we were falling off of a cliff, I looked around frantically, and I held on to a vine. I felt something tug on my foot, I looked down and saw Jason holding on. I felt like slipping off, but I kept climbing it, putting my foot on rocks along the way. Jason finally got ahold of the vine instead of my foot. I finally climbed up and I felt two arms help me up, which were Mitch's. I turned to look down to help Jason get up too. "Here, let me help." I said taking out my hand. He was about to get ahold of it, but then the vine snapped, and he was falling down. "JASON NO!" I exclaimed. I put my hands on my face. "And then there were three......" I heard Mitch say. "Alright, let's look for-" Then all of a sudden, I felt drowsy, then I blacked out.
