Prologue

Louis' POV:

Vicky had just given birth to our beautiful daughter Carly-Ann. Unfortunately I am on tour and couldn't be there. I feel really bad.

Vicky's POV:

I was upset that Louis wasn't here but I know it's his job so I don't mind. Carly-Ann is the cutest thing ever.

I walked out of the hospital and got into a taxi. With Carly-Ann in her carseat. I told the taxi driver my address and waited until he got there. As soon as he got there I got out and started to walk to the other side to get Carly-Ann out. But the taxi driver took off. I tried running after the car but it was too fast. My baby, my baby girl was gone.

Carly-Ann's POV

I walked into my house after school. Dad wasn't in but he never is. I like it that way, gives me time to myself before I go to Dylan's for the night. Dylan is my boyfriend, Dylan Styles, eldest son of Harry Styles of One Direction. I've never met any other members of One Direction but apparently they are going to be there tonight. Along with my best friend Lizzie Payne.

"Carly where are you going?" Dad asks as he walks inside as I walk down with my overnight bag.

"I'm staying over Dylan's. All of One Direction and their families are going to be there and Dylan invited me to stay" I say trying to convince him.

He never really liked me staying out anywhere. Apparently it was because when I wasn't there the house was empty and he didn't like it. It's always been just us, Dad and I. Whenever I asked where my Mum was he just changed the subject. He told me she didn't want me, that kind of hurts but I got used to it. People say I don't look anything like my Dad but maybe I get my looks from my Mum instead. But I wouldn't know if that was true or not. I had this gut feeling that my Mum did want me, I never told Dad that though. Sometimes I think 'are you really my Dad?' But why wouldn't he be?

"Okay, but be back before curfew tomorrow" he said sternly. I nodded and ran out and text Dylan.

'I'm on my way see you in a bit xxx' I slid my phone in my back pocket and walk towards his house. As I walked down his street there was 4 extra cars parked outside. Seems like I'm the last one here. I knocked on the door and waited. I heard many footsteps racing down the stairs before the door swung open and stood there was a huge crowd of people. I saw Dylan push past them and hugged me. I instantly hugged him back. As we pulled away I saw Harry and Sophie smiling at us. I smiled back as Dylan held my hand pulling me through the crowd. I had no idea who half of them were. But something surprised me, as I walked inside Louis and his wife Vicky were smiling at me, but not a 'nice to meet you' smile. Oh no, more like a 'I know you for somewhere' smile. Which scared me a little.

Louis' POV

Vicky and I never stopped looking for our little girl. I had never even met her. My little girl, the one who I was so excited to come home and see. The police told us that she was probably dead. I don't believe that, I have a gut feeling she is still out there, I know it. And I won't stop trying to find her. I know she is out there, I just know it. We had a little boy, Toby. But we never tried again in fear of having a girl, I didn't want to replace my baby girl. It is not right. I still love her the same as the day she is born and I never will stop loving her, even though I have never met her.

As Dylan and his girlfriend walked inside I looked at Vicky and she looked at me, we both had the same looks on our faces. Dylan's girlfriend looked just like Vicky and I. It can't be her though can it? I don't even know her name.
