Chapter 1:Send the short one for groceries at night
"We are the champions!!!" My friends sing threw the halls of hell....Oops I mean Falcon High School. OH! Hi My name is Victoria Gomez. I'm seventeen-years-old, brown hair, brown eyes, I'm short and I have three older brothers and two loving parents. I have three best friends Nicole, the smart fashionable one, she has dark drown hair, and brown eyes. Then we have Seth the prankster, he has black hair, and brown eyes. Lastly Benjamin, or Ben for short, the calm and funny one of the group, he has blonde hair and brown eyes. Then there's me the Sweet but once you set her off the meanest and scariest one. I'm very kind, volleyball player, dancer, and many more. People always say that I'm the sweetest person ever. Now back to the present time. I laugh quietly at them as they continue to sing down the halls, ignoring the crazy looks they are receiving.
"So Tori what are we doing for movie night this Saturday?" Ben asks as we continue to watch our friends sing and dance in front of us. "Hm, maybe we can watch scary movies you know we can go to the redbox after school Friday and then Saturday we can watch them." I suggested. "Are you sure? You do remember what happen the last time we watched scary movies" he said holding up his hands his hands in front of me and wiggling his fingers, then puts them down and continued, "You and Nick couldn't even let go of me and Seth." He had to bring that up. I glared at him as he laughed remembering the moment. "I am absolutely positive. Stop bringing up the past Ben." I scowled as he doubled his laughter. "Tori that happened like two weeks ago." I shoved him into the lockers as I speed walked to catch up with my other two friends.
As I caught up to them I started to sing along with them until the bell ringed signaling the beginning of the day. We all said our goodbyes and Nick, short for Nicole, and I walked to class. As we were walking we saw Xavier and his gang in the halls, smoking, this guy is bad news. Him and his brothers are in a gang, and Xavier is the gang leader. Everyone here is scared of them and the girls will they throw themselves at them expect for me and Nicole. I have to give it to them for one thing and one thing only..........THEY ARE HOT! Nicole and me walk faster as the stare at us intensely. "So are we having movie night this Saturday?" Nicole asks. "Yea, I told Ben that we could watch scary movie marathons and guess what he did just guess. He LAUGHS in my face and brought up the night we watched scary movies." I told her. Shit, did her face turned white. "Are you sure about the scary movies?" she asks as we walk in class. I turn to her before sitting down "Positive." Before she could say anything the teacher walked in and started teaching.
As classes went by the more and more closer it got to lunch and to go home. As the bell rung telling us hungry teenagers that lunch had finally arrived was a glory in life. Now before we go on, my school and the elementary school have lunch at the same place and time. Here's how our schools are connected at the cafeteria. High school and elementary school have different principles, only difference. Now back to the story, before I can go to my friends I go to check on my nephew and niece. I walk to the teachers of elementary "Hi Ms.Peggy" I smile at the nice teacher. "OH Victoria! Hi sweetie, how is your day going" she says before calling Nathan and Yannes, my nephew and niece. "Good thank you for asking." I see both of my little munchicans walk towards us. "Your welcome and you already know they have to be back as soon as the bell rings" I nodded and picked up Nathan as he is only four years old and in pre-K and I grab Yannes's hand as she is six years-old. You think the high school girls and guys would calm down there hormones as little kids are eating with us but no they show no care at all. As we walked to my table I grab their lunch bags and mine from my locker.
I bring them to school and take them home, Nathan is the oldest son of my second older brother Nate. Yannes is the youngest daughter of the oldest brother I have. I have three brothers, Mason, Nate, and Adam. Mason has three children girl, boy, girl. Nate has two kids Nathan and Scarlett. Finally Adam he is married with no kids. All my brothers have their own wives and houses, but live close by me. Like seriously they are my neighbors. Anyways... I place Nathan down next to me as I took out his food and Yannes sat next to Nicole and took out her lunch. "Omg are you the most cutest guy ever." Nicole squeals, like she does every time she sees Nathan. Nathan stared at her and stuck out his tongue. Ben and Seth laugh and Yannes smirks. " Oh you can't even make a baby like you." Seth laughs as Nicole sits there shocked. As we continue to eat Xavier and his brothers enter and sit next to our table. Soon as they sat down they laugh and talk as the 'Queens' sat on there laps and try to seduce them. I groan as Yannes looks. " Yannes por favor no ves, here play on your tablet." I said taking out her tablet out from my bag. Next I took out my phone and handed it to Nathan.
"Hey don't worry they aren't even looking anymore" Seth tells me to help me calm down. I nodded as I laugh at Ben as he pushes Seth to Nicole making her fall. As we continue to laugh and play with Nathan and Yannes, I look at the time and seeing it was almost time for the bell to ring. I was about to pick everything up when Nicole stops me, "I got this take these kids to there teachers before you get in trouble." I thanked her and picked up Nathan and grabbed Yannes's hand before stuffing my phone and her tablet in my bag. "Okay you remember to be good and pay attention and follow directions Yannes." I told them and the last part to Yannes as she got in trouble yesterday for not following teacher's orders. They gave me a hug as their teachers told them to line up.

It was finally time to go home. I quickly stuffed my bag with my notebook and pencil. I quickly texted Nicole if she needed a ride and headed to the elementary school to pick Nathan and Yannes up. I thank their teachers as they handed my their school bags I grabbed their hands and walked towards my car. As we were walking I saw Xavier and the main Queen, Tiffany, making out on his motorcycle. Ugh disgusting. I glare at them as I quicken my pace to my car I see Nicole by my car waiting patiently. I smile at her as she helped me buckle up the two sleepy kids. "Oh my gosh. Can you believe I saw Xavier and Tiffany making out. If he wasn't a gang leader I would've told them something" I informed Nicole. She laughed and shook her head. "Are you sure you weren't jealous?" she said raising up on of eyebrows. "WHAT! No way Nicole." I scowled as I continued to drive.
Later that day-
After I dropped off Nicole and the kids at my brothers house I went straight up to my room. I'm finishing up my homework when my mom walked in. I smiled at her. "Hola ma quieres algo?" I asked my mom if she wanted something. She nodded yes, "Yes mija I need you to get some groceries for tomorrows dinner" she handed me a list and I nodded as I walked out of my house to the store. I made sure I had my wallet and continued walking. As I was walking I could here gun shots from afar, hope they are past the groceries stores, as I continued walking the gun shots got louder. I quickly stopped my feet from walking as I watched why I heard gun shots a gang fight. oh no nonononononononononononono. Then I heard it a gun shot was fired and headed towards me. I waited for it to hit me but instead I was pushed out the way and landed on what felt like a warm body. "Are you okay?" I heard a husky voice before fainting.
