"just because it burns doesn't mean you're going to die, you have to get up and try "
Smoke infiltrating the walls of the Castle; the heavy gray clouds seemed to suffocate houses miles from the kingdom. No one could be bothered on this bright sunny day, until the emperor of the town beside them decided to seize the castle's army and infiltrate the castle's wall. The emperor held a strong face, although many of his men were burning to death to fight in this insurmountable war on the Kingdom of Clairfield. The king of this castle, Mickael Clairfield II, and his stunning wife, Martha Clairfield, did what was best for the kingdom at all times, and it was very rare for them to break the rules. They quickly sent their best men to hide with their twin girls of the age of 15 and the girls' closest friends who had been over practicing their ballroom dancing; although, this went against Mickael's family morals, which state: 'a family in which was raised together shall also die together.' The emperor made his way up the burning castle's stairs and entered the bedroom that belonged to the king's daughters. Martha stood there proudly as tears filled her already-blue, glossy eyes, she knew her time was going to end soon. She silently prayed as he drew his sword, if he did not kill her the smoke would eventually suffocate her and take over her lungs. The sword, long, dirty, blood-filled piece of slim metal, she thought would soon end her life. It seemed as if out of the shadows her husband jumped in the way as the emperor raised his sword. Mickael quickly kissed his wife as he was abruptly stabbed in the chest. The emperor let his wife to sit there to mourn and cry as the once beautiful palace went up in flames killing anyone who didn't escape. Martha knew her daughters were safe, with that thought in mind, she was able to accept the face of death as he held his hand out to her. She had made the decision to let her children go, hide, train and become beautiful queens, but that's the problem. There are two girls, but there can only be one queen.
After two long, hard, overwhelming years the table had greatly turned. Bonnie, a
young, intelligent, and hardworking woman, had trained her hardest, pushing herself to succeed in everything she tries. She passed all her classes with 90's or above. It was tough being a scholar while being a queen of half a town. Yes, half a town, her sister ruled the other half but in a year they'd have to either come down to an agreement or they'd go to war and fight to the death. Bonnie didn't spend much time perfecting her war strategies, she worried more about school than anything, her goal was to make her mother proud in everything she could possibly do. Tenner on the other hand, turned down the wrong path, began drinking at an early age, failed horrendously in academic activities, but she had trained heavily in the art of close combat and deception. She was prepared for everything and anything that came her way, from wild animals to robbers to assassins. But, she was incapable of expressing her feelings through words, this was the only trait she longed for that her sister had acquired. Tenner spent the past two year perfecting routines, kicks, punches, and attacks, just in case her sister didn't go down nicely during their 'agreement' on who gets the throne. They both turned seventeen today, July 8, each of them spend their birthdays differently.
" Bonnie, wake up Ms. Seventeen-Year-Old" a familiar voice had soon broken the early morning silence, Bonnie was slightly awoken just barely able to keep her eyes open. She stretched her delicate arms up into the air as if she was reaching for the sky. She threw her long legs over the edge of her bed and sluggishly got up. She walked over to the gigantic glass in which she could catch her reflection and began to fix her long blonde hair. Bonnie had servants of every kind in her castle, you would expect them to be up and running at this point but no. Every year on Bonnie's birthday she orders them to take the day off, she did not want to be bothered today with tasks and school work or being woken up early. " Bonnie come on I have a surprise for You!" The familiar voice rang again she then realized that it was her door guard William, William Smith to be exact. She sighed and spoke calmly.
