Chapter 5: Fever

Zoro's POV

Everyone came and surrounded Akki she was sick Sanji was freaking out and Luffy put his hand on Akki's forehead. "Ah she's freezing cold" I carried her up and placed her in their room, Chopper came and took Akki's temperature.

Luffy: "This is your fault Sanji"

Sanji: "It was your fault you made me slip!"

Me: "Both of you shut up she's trying to rest!"

Robin and Nami came in and Chopper took the thermometer wondering why it wouldn't beep. Chopper was shocked the thermometer was broken but before it broke it reads possibly Akki's temperature 250 Fahrenheit.

Me: "Hey Chopper what's Akki's temperature?"

Chopper: "Its broken..."

All: "What but what does it say"

Chopper: "250 Fahrenheit"

Everyone gasped and Robin said to them "I feel bad for her this is her fist fever and its so serious." Akki was shaking she was still freezing cold and has ragged breathing. Luffy and Sanji were arguing again and Akki was being bothered by it and put the blanket over her body. Chopper said they were going to look for herbs and left me in charge of Akki.

Akki was curling up in a ball is she really that cold, then her body started shaking uncontrollably. I felt her head it was freezing cold then she gripped on the bed sheets and closed her eyes harder. Everyone came back with the herbs and that stupid love cook was bothering her wait what was I saying why does this bother me. Could I have possibly fallen in love with Akki?

Akki's POV

I was waking up and I felt so cold. Sanji was holding my hand I tried to get up but it hurt my lower torso. Chopper gave me the medicine and I laid down again , everyone went back into their room and me and Zoro were alone. I tried falling asleep but I couldn't my whole body was cold, my head was hot and my heart still hurts is this how your suppose to feel when your sick.

Zoro sat on the bed next to me he put his hand on my forehead and said "Oi Akki...are you cold?"  I was shocked but I didn't want to be rude and replied "Um....yeah"  When I said that he laid down next to me and hug me.

"Z...Zoro?"

"What Akki?"

"Y...you shouldn't be near me I'm sick"

"You said you were cold"

"Yeah but-"

"Its alright

I didn't do anything just stayed still while feeling Zoro's body heat. What was this feeling it wasn't hate or loneliness it felt warm, my heart was beating fast and I didn't know what to do. I pulled closer to Zoro's chest feeling his warmth, I was able to fall asleep.
