I woke up with a buzzing in my ears and the sun in my eyes. I grumbled and rolled over, feeling a body next to me.
I opened my eyes wider and realized that the curly haired boy in my bed wasn't Luke.
I slowly slid out of bed, trying not to make any noise to wake whomever it was, although when my foot hit the floor, his head darted up.
"Good morning." He rolled over.
I looked at him, very confused. "Jai?"
"I, uh, didn't go home last night after I dropped you off because it was so late and I wanted to make sure you were okay." He scratched the back of his head.
"I'm fine, where are the other boys? Did they not come home?" I asked, still very upset from the actions of Luke last night.
"I'm not sure, Cayd." He rubbed his eyes, getting the sleep out.
"What all happened last night?"
"Nothing, I just brought you here and went to sleep.." He answered quickly.
"Not between us, Jai! With the boys! Did anything happen?" I furrowed my brows.
"Oh, duh, uhm. Not anything that I know of. James met a bartender, Luke was being an ass, Beau and Daniel were being horndogs as usual." He laughed a little.
"Well I think it'd be best if you found them and saw what was going on, I need some alone time from Luke right now." I looked at the ground.
"Understandable, he was being a cunt last night." He nodded and got out of my bed, walking to the door, "Have a good day."
"You too, Jai."
After he had left, I sat waiting for my phone to ring or give me a clue that Luke was worried about me. He hadn't seen me since I left the club last night, did he even know that I went home?
"Calm down, Cayden, he's probably just asleep. He loves you. He'll get a hold of you as soon as he can." I whispered to myself, swearing that he was just passed out on James' couch.
My phone buzzed but it wasn't the text I was looking for, instead it was a tweet from Luke's twitter account.
I read it out loud, "You make one mistake and the first chance he gets, your brother sweeps her off her feet."
I looked at my phone confused, wondering what he was talking about.
I dialed his number and waited for her voice on the other end.
"What?" I heard his groggy tone, he had just woken up.
"Luke, what's going on?" I asked, worried.
"You know damn well what's going on, Cayden." His voice was angrier now.
"Tell me what I did, if I even did anything. Because the last thing I remember is you being a fucking dick last night." I hollered through the phone.
"You know the last thing I remember, Cayden?" He paused, "The last thing I remember is your lips on my brother's cheek with his arm around you."
I sat dumbfounded, "Lucas, you know damn well that there is nothing going on between me and Jai. He took me home last night because you were too much of an asshole to leave the club. Because your fun is much more important than anything I want, right?" I yelled at him louder now and hung up the phone.
I sat down on my bed and cried into my pillow before my phone started ringing, it was Luke again.
I flipped it over and laid back down, not answering it. Within minutes I was back to sleep with my head in the clouds.
