* this is just some thoughts that have been buzzing around my mind. figured id make a poem. this has nothing to do with anything i am going to do or believe in. just musings of myself*

We wander though the tunnel our whole lives,

We expect it to end somewhere,

Mean something,

What is beyond the dark tunnel that is life?

Hoping we don't suddenly stop,

That reaching the end of the tunnel leads us elsewhere,

No one wants to be nonexistent,

But what if our tunnel is a dead end?

When we drop like a stone,

Is there a stream to catch us,

Or do we keep falling into darkness until there is nothing left?

Nothing is known about the end of our journey,

Death is the most daunting experience we look at,

We fear that there is no heaven for us,

No "after that",

So I ask you,

Will you walk to the end of your tunnel with grace,

Or fight it with every breath,

Making it a black hole that swallows you whole,

How will you deal with death?

*So, what do you think? I was inspired by a philosophy discussion in my class. I been thing about it more or less since then. Death. This it what came out of all that :)*
