A little girl no older then three was fast asleep not a clue as to what was happening outside.
Her parents were frantically packing things they thought would be useful but light to carry. The mother quickly headed for the stairs to get to her daughters room until a loud crash. The mother tried to quickly run up the steps to save her daughter, but her husband grabbed her and ran out of the house as she screamed her childs name Crystal and yelling for him to let her go.
The young girl awakened by the crash and her mommys screams quickly grabbed her neon green hoodie and ran to were she head her mommy, but stopped when she heard a monster growl. Scared she ran back to her room and hid in her closet. Hugging her teddy bear she hid in the very back as she heard the monster getting closer.
As the growling got closer she puts her face into the stuffed bear and whimpers quietly and the growls stop. Slowly Crystal started to get up until Scratching could be heard and she quickly went back to her spot crying silently.
The growling started again but more softer as a clawed hand broke threw the door.
Crystal yelps and starts crying loudly from fear and huddles into the corner of her closet. As the monster gets closer he nudges and sniffs the crying child.
Hunters p.o.v
Picking the wailing pup up I head out of the small space it was kept.
Crawling out of the home i hear the survivers. Heading into the opposite derection to avoid them for the safty of the pup only to realise two other humans saw me and the pup one screaming while the other aims a gun at the both of us. Growling I set the pup down and pounce at the male with the gun.
Crystals p.o.v
The monster put me down and i hug my teddy bear until i hear my mommy yell for me then i hear my daddy scream and the monster. I look at daddy and see the monster hurting him. I ran over and try to push the monster off only for him to quickly pick me up again and run into the forest by mom home.
No p.o.v
As the Hunter runs threw the forest the little girl hugs tightly to him scared to fall. The hunter starts to slow down and walks into a small abandoned cabin, setting the pup down in a small pile of blankets and curles up around in to keep it warm. A purring/growling nosie comes from the hunter as he nudges her. Giggling come from the pup "you sound like a kitty" she says as she hugs him. The purring sound and warmth lulling her to sleep
