Searching through the crowd, I caught her eye. "Come here!" I screamed, and she came running.
She ran into my open arms, squeezing me tightly. I pulled her off of me, and saw there were tears in her eyes. "I missed you," I said to her.
She looked away, a tear streaming down her face. She wiped her face, and looked back into my eyes. The whites of her eyes were red, and her eyelashes were separated, as if she had been crying for a while.
"Why did you leave me?" I asked.
She just looked down. She shook her head, finally looking up. Her blue eyes had a flicker of confidence in them, mixed with fear. She opened her mouth, and out came the most beautiful voice I had ever heard. It sounded perfect; sweet, and mature. Her voice cracked at first, but after, it was clear and smooth.
"I loved you to much."
