~Lillian Pov~
I rubbed my eyes slowly and looked at the time.
Six o'clock.
Another successful day on the farm today I guess.
I got up and went straight to the bathroom.
I had a warm shower and dried off quickly. I put on a pair of jeans and a white long sleeve shirt. I was just going grocery shopping and working on the farm today, so I didn't want to wear anything dressy.
I walked out of my house, to go and take care of Akari and Mellow.
I walked out of the farm and shut the big steel gate behind me, and locked it. Just incase Keno and his curiosity comes around.
I walked over to Diego's General store that he runs with his brother, Enrique. I entered in slowly, looking at all the shelves full of fresh fruits and vegetables, wheat and bread and other items too.
"Hello Lillian!" I voice called out from behind the counter.
"Oh hi Deigo!" I reply smiling.
"What can I do for you today Lillian?" Deigo asked curiously.
But before I could answer, Rutger suddenly came bursting in.
"Lillian! There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Rutger said catching his breath.
"Sorry..." I said quietly.
"It's alright. Now listen up! Tomorrow is the last cooking festival of the month. I supply some ingredients, but this is the last time I can. So don't forget to get ingredients for next time ok?" Rutger said quickly.
"Yep!" I replied smiling.
We have a cooking festival four times a month. It's where Konohana and Bluebell compete to see who has the best cooking. This was the last cooking festival of this month, and the last three times, we won twice and lost once. So I'm eager to win this time!
"Alright. I'll be by your house tomorrow to drop of the ingredients!" Rutger said starting to walk out of the store.
"Alright, bye!" I replied waving.
"Sorry about that Deigo." I said turning to Deigo. "I suppose that was ergent." I replied embarrassed.
"Not a problem! Now what can I help you with?" Deigo asked smiling.
I pulled out a piece of paper with all the things I needed.
"Ok so, I need..." I said looking down at the piece of paper.
"Five packets of flour, six packets of rice, two bottles of oil, four loaves of bread, a bunch of carrots, three apples, one horse treat and three onions." I said quite out of breath.
I saw Deigo smile as he had everything I wanted already on the counter top.
"Wow that was quick!" I said laughing.
"Well you gotta be fast in this kind of business." He replied coolly.
"Yeah I guess so." I replied quietly. "Anyways, how much will this be?" I asked hoping it wouldn't cost too much.
"Lets see now..." Deigo said as he walked over to the cash register. "Thirty five gold." He replied swiftly.
"Alright!" I said smiling.
To my surprise, it wasn't much at all.
I put everything into a bag and handed Deigo the money.
