The Meadow

We sat there for I guess an hour, until I finally gave up

"Alright what do you want to play?" I say sitting up straight. "I said I don't--" He starts to say something, but I interrupted him. "You can pick out the game if you want, I just want to do something." I say tossing the uno back in the basket.

"Fine, do you have cards." He says finally looking at me. "Yeah, theres Uno, I just put back in, normal cards, red and blue ones, Uh lets see." I say counting with my fingers, and soon pulling out drawer. "Well, red an blue ones will--" He gets cut off by, what sounds like... Mother.

"Ivy dear, can you go out to the meadow and get some flowers please?" She calls out,

"Yes mother." I say standing up, heading to the coffee table to grab a basket. "Bye Andrew." I say to him while waving. I don't hear him say bye back, but I'll just imagine he did.

I exit the house, and make my way to the meadow. I stop skipping, and start walking to the sound of birds chirping, wind blowing the grass causing them to push into each other. I breath in the nice, cool air, enjoying every second, and every step.

"Finally." I say to myself once I make it to the pond, where the most colorful flowers are. I drop the basket a couple feet away from the pond and I start looking around for flowers. I find plenty of colorful flowers, and I even make a flower crown (a bad one though).

I take my sweet little time, until I see a shine in the corner of my eye. I put my full attention on it, and soon walk over to it. I crouch down, Thinking that its litter, I reach down and a hand figure pulls me down. Its like a human hand, but made out of water, like someone was wearing a water glove.

I didn't get a good look to see what was happening, 'cause I shut my eyes closed. When I open them, I see plates, doors, flower pots with the flowers still in them, candy rappers, and many more weird things falling down with me.

I look down to try to see the platform that I'm going to land on, but I see nothing. All I see is a white dot thats out of my vision, so its a blurry white dot.

I keep on falling, non stop, the plates, doors, flower pots with flowers still in them, and candy rappers, are all going past me, but they all look the same. Like I'm going through a big lope in an endless hole, that was under a pond... thats normal.

I soon fall asleep, from the boredness of falling, but soon wake up by the soft cushion of leaves. The leaves that I fell on, were incredibly soft, and I could say the exact same thing about the branches. When I got to the bottom, I could standing up straight. I felt nothing different, no cuts or bruises, no sick felling, I felt just perfect. All is perfect, except for my clothes, and everyone around me.
