An Introduction: Vestal of Wind!

Me: *Begins playing Bravely Default on 3DS*

Airy: Oh, hello! I see fire in those eyes! How do I put it?

Me: Plainly? *Says sarcastically*

Airy: They've a strong sense of duty. Like whatever you start, you will always see through, no matter what! If you'll permit me, there's something I'd very much like to show you. But...

Me: Oh no, always a 'but...'

Airy: First, I just need to hear it from you. Say that you'll stay. Till the very end.

Me: Okay! I will stay to the very end! *Smiles*

Airy: With that done, let's get you on your way!

Me: Wait, where are you going?! *reads screen* Oh. Okay then.

????: Can you hear my prayers? *Looks at me*

Me: Yeah... Are you okay? Why are you praying?

?????: Wherever you are. Whoever you are...

*Music picks up*

Me: Wait, what? Hold on, what's happening?! *Panics*

?????: *Screams* Please, you must listen! I have no one to turn to now but you... The walls of the world are falling down around us! *Looks at the ground, shaking head* All of us were fools.

Me: You aren't a fool! *Holds 3DS tightly*

?????: Such a base and hateful snare... Yet none of us saw it!

*Monster growls*

Me: Saw what? What's going on? *Whimpers*

?????: But now... I cannot abandon my injured friends to death. You who hear my prayer... You whom I've yet to meet...

Me: Y-yeah?

?????: If there is still time yet, save them! My friends. This world!

*World shakes parts of it breaking off*

Me: No! Wait!

????: *Gasps and falls, holding onto the ledge* I beg of you. Become my warrior of light! *Falls and screams*

Me: NOO! *Starts to sob silently*

*Scene changes*

Me: Whoa... Candlez. *Smiles a little*

*Reveals ???? and other women*

Me: You're alive! Thank goodness for that. *Sighs in relief*

Woman 1: The crystal's glow wanes by the hour.

Woman 2: It's fading light augers a greater darkness.

Woman 3: Something must be done.

?????: Leave all to me.

*Door opens, flooding screen with green light*

Me: Whoa... *Looks in awe*

?????: I am Agnes Oblige,

Me: Oh.

Agnes: Servant and vestal to the crystal of wind. The crystals' light is mother to all creation. To all life.

Me: Ooh... Pretty cool crystal!

Agnes: Purified by the vestals' rites, their incandescence wards the world from disaster. *Sits on knees and prays*

Me: W-what went wrong?

Agnes: And so I pray, now as ever before, and onward till the years take me.

*Crystal is circled by dark fog until it is fully consumed in black*

Agnes: What in the world? *Gasps in shock, standing up*

Woman 1: Lady Agnes!

Agnes: No, please!

Woman 1: Protect the vestal! Hurry!

Woman 2: Let our bodies be her shield!

Agnes: The darkness overflows!

*All scream, extinguishing all candles*

Me: Agnes!! *Tears well up in eyes*

Agnes: Ahh! Oomph! *Lands on couch*

Me: Agnes!

Agnes: AH! *Screams*

Me: Hey, hey... It's okay. I was going to become your 'warrior of light' but I think that's outta the question now.

Agnes: *Sits silently, calming self down* UNACCEPTABLE!!!
