~~~~~~November (15) ~~~~~~
Katherine’s POV
 I sat down at the dining table, next to Lilly. Amy and my dad sat at each end of the table, Lizzy sat across from us, all alone. Martin set down containers of food all around the table.
“What’s all this about?” Lizzy asked as we dug in.
“What do you mean?” my father seemed happier than ever.
“We never do this,” Lilly said.
“Well we thought it would be nice to do something like this,” Amy explained with a huge smile.
“What’s going on?” I asked as seeing Amy and dad didn’t stop smiling.
“Should we tell them now?” Amy whispered to my dad.
“I thought we’d wait until after dinner,” he whispered back.
“Tell us what?” Lilly asked.
“I got a job offer,” my dad said.
“Are you leaving?” I asked confused.
“Not just me,” my father trailed off.
“Is mom going with you?” Lizzy asked. My dad nodded.
“Where?” Lilly asked.
“We’re all moving to London,” my heart started racing. I could finally be closer to my birth place.
“Are we going to be close to grandma and grandpa?” I asked anxiously.
“What?” my father asked.
“Oh no. London England,” Amy said. My heart that seemed to be beating 1000 miles a minute, dropped.
“No way!” the twin shrieked.  I sat there speechless. I didn’t want to move 5440 miles away. I hated LA and pretty much everyone in it, but I didn’t want to move.
“So what do you think?” my dad asked me. I shook my head.
“What’s wrong?” Amy asked.
“I don’t want to move,” I admitted.
“Why not? This will be fun,” Amy said trying to lighten the mood.
“What about Andrew?” I turned to my dad.
“What do you mean?” he asked with concern.
“He’s not going to find us,” I said.
“Yes he will,” my dad said grabbing my hand. I swiped it away before he could touch me.
“I thought you’d be thrilled,” my dad said.
“What if something happens and they can’t find us to tell us?” I stood up.
“I will send the government everything they will need to contact us,”
“What if he comes back right after we leave and he can’t find us?” I said walking to my room. I slammed the door shut and fell on to my bed. I cried and cried. A knock on my door stopped me; I forced myself to calm down before answering it.
“Can I come in?” my dad asked. I opened the door allowing him to enter. I sat back down on my bed as he arranged his thoughts.
“I know you don’t want to move, but I think this would be good for everyone,”
“How will it be good for everyone?” I asked.
“It’s like we can start all over. The house is a bit bigger. There’s enough room’s so if Andrew comes back. There’s a pool in the backyard,” my dad started listing all the items off. But the first thing he said, was stuck in my head. Maybe I could start all over. No one at my new school would know who I was. I could cover up all of my scars and act like they were never there. A smile spread across my face.
“I’m glad you’re on board now,” my dad hugged me.
“When do we leave?” I asked as he walked out of my room.
He turned around, “We should be in London by the end of this month,” my dad said before closing my door. I looked around my room, taking it all in.
~~~November(22)~~~

  “Yep. You’ll need glasses,” the eye doctor told me.

“For everything?” I asked.

“You can wear contacts when you don’t want to wear glasses,” he explained. I sighed in disappointment. Just one week before we leave I find out I need glasses. I tried on a few pair and picked my four favourites. Amy and I ordered contacts before we went home. I went to my room and continued packing.
