Chapter 9 - The Prison Of ShadowCreek

"What do you think their going to do with Crystal?" Kaitou asked "I don't know." She said "There has to be a way to escape." Kaitou said. Kaitou looked at Melody and she was free. "Wh...How did you get out?" He said "Like this." Melody stared at the rope and closed her eyes. The rope started disappearing. Then rope disappeared into thin air. "How did you do that." Kaitou asked "Uhh...its my ability." She said "Don't you have one?" She asked "Uhh...no." He said "Oh...You will soon." Melody smiled and walked to the entrance. "You coming?" She asked "Melody look up." Kaitou said. Melody looked up at the entrance and saw a black and grey wolf guarding the prison. Melody slowly backed away from the entrance. "Is there a way for you to make him disappear?" Kaitou whispered "I don't know." She said "I haven't used it on wolves yet." "Well try." He said. Melody slowly walked up to the entrance.She stared at the Guard and closed her eyes. When she opened them the Guard was still there. "I can't." She said Kaitou sighed and sat down. "Then wait till he leaves." He said 

Kaitou and Melody paced back and fourth as they waited for the Guard to leave. "Hey i have an idea." He said Kaitou slowly walked up to the entrance. "See that fire pit?" Kaitou asked "Yeah why." "I want you to try and make the stone under it to disappear." "Ill try." She said. Melody walked closer to the entrance and stared at the stone. She closed her eyes and the stone started to disappear. The fire on top of the stone fell and caught the dead grass on fire. The fire spread to one of the trees. "Fear!" The Guard yelled as he walked away from the prison. "Hurry." Kaitou said Kaitou and Melody both ran out of the prison. "What way to..." "Look Out!" Melody yelled before Kaitou could finish. Melody pushed Kaitou out of the way of a falling tree. "Woah!" He yelled. Fear walked into ShadowCreek and saw all the wolves running. He ran to the pack and saw all the fire. He looked at the prison and saw Kaitou and Melody running out into the woods on fire. "Where do you think your going?" He said as he started chasing them through the burning forest. Kaitou and Melody ran under trees past burning grass and dodged falling trees on fire. "This...This way." Kaitou said out of breathe. They kept running with Fear right behind them. They stopped and a huge cliff and tried to turn around. When they turned around Fear was right behind them. "I got you know." Fear started to walk closer. "Jump." Melody Whispered "What!" Kaitou said "Trust me jump." "Hey Fear!" Melody yelled. Fear stopped walking closer. "Give up?" He said "Never." Melody said as she and Kaitou both jumped off the cliff. Fear ran to the edge of the cliff. He used one of his shadows to grab onto Melody "Woah Hey!: She yelled as she looked down and watched Kaitou fall. Kaitou landed in some water but didn't come up from under. Fear used the shadow to bring her back up here. Once he realized that he grabbed onto the wrong person he through her off the cliff. Melody screamed as she fell into the water.

Melody gasped for air as she flowed down the huge river. She looked around but didn't see Kaitou anywhere. The water was flowing really fast. "Kaitou!" She yelled "Kaitou?" She said again but no answer. She waited and waited until the water started to slow down and it became shallow. Once it did she tried to walk over to a rock on the side of the cliff. She started walked into the water until she found land. She ran up onto the ground and laid down waited to see if Kaitou would pass by. She waited for hours the sun started to set and Melody's eyes started to close. "No i must stay up and...and wait." She thought. She waited for Ten more minutes and then she fell asleep.
