It all started when I was a child. It had been the year 2015. I had just discovered a theory when I had been digging through one of my many science books. I was a very bright 12 year old according to my parents and teachers. I love the fact that anything I ever wanted to know was available to me. So anyway, I was digging through my book and I found a note in the very back of the book. It said that there was a theoretical substance that could possibly allow you to bend objects and atoms to your will. I stayed up all night imagining what I would do with a power like that. I am now 25, I have devoted my life to this theory. As I am speaking I am currently orbiting around an unknown planet along one of the outer reaches of our galaxy. I am willing to give up anything, and when I say anything I mean it, to see and feel the power of the dark matter. My friends Cole, Conscious, Ryan, Hannah, and Michael have joined in my search. I can't thank them enough. "Hey Aaron." "What's up Cole?" "Time to eat you need to be in the galley by 0500 hours." "Jesus Cole I'll be there and you don't have to be so orderly. Chill bro we're in space the only people who can control us are us." "Yeah yeah okay Aaron but still you better be there." "I was just finishing anyway." "Wow it smells like actual food in here!" "Oh shut the hell up Ryan it's the best Hannah can muster under the circumstances." "Jeez Mike I'm just trying to lighten the mood!" "Well if your way of lightening the mood is being a dick it doesn't work very well!!" "Hey everyone just calm down. I know it's been stressful these past few days but we will get through it we just need to stick together." Yeah guys Aaron's right just chill." "Thank you Hannah." So that's how our lives went we keep doing our research and for the most part getting along. And then one day one of us snapped. "What the fuck!" "Holy shit" "Everyone calm the fuck down and tell me what the hell happened." " Aaron I think you better see this" "Where are you Cole?" We're in the cargo bay." Ok I'm coming." And there, sprawled out on the floor in front of me, lay the dead body of one of my closest comrades. Ryan was dead.
