Chapter one (part one)

"Alison! are you ready?"

My mom yelled as she took the last few boxes out to the moving car.

'Coming!'

i got my last few things out of my room and ran down stairs. by long curly dark brown hair bouncing as i go down.

'I'm going to miss this place.'

"Me too but it brings back memories..."

i looked at my mom and i see tears in her eyes.

'well lets go'

i give her a sweet smile and walk out.

the reason we're moving is because there was a drive by and my dad got shot. it was hard to live here because it borough back the memories. and my mom found a house she loved in Bradford so we decided to move.

"so mom, what college am i going to?"

'you'll just have to wait and see'

i rolled my eyes, pulled out my headphones and out on my favorite song "1993 by Neon Trees". i looked out the window and dozed off. what a long day we had ahead of us.....

"Alison! wake up where here!"

 i look up and see a huge house.

' Mom i thought we where getting a smaller house. it's just us'

she looked at me with a sad face. i sigh and look at her again.

' Mom it's fine. i'm ok with it...'

i give her a sweet smile and get off the car.

'you coming?'

" yeah let me just open the back"

i nod at her and walk up to the font door, i look back and i don't see my mom. i guess she's behind the car. i open the door and i feel a cold breeze behind me i turn to see if it was me mom but no one was there.

' Mom?'

"yeah!"

she comes from behind the car with boxes. i run to go help her. i didn't want to freak her out so i didn't say anything about it.
