Hey, guys! Let's do another oneshot with a skeleton, this time the tall younger brother of Sans, Papyrus!

Reader is female and pacifist.

(Your P.O.V)

Well, looks like I arrived in Snowdin... it was actually pretty beautiful... I walked around, looking at places like the library with a typo, pretty embarrassing... a place called Grillby's and a small house at the end of the town. I had met many momsters along the way, but my favorite encounter was with the skeleton brothers, Sans and Papyrus. They were both total opposites, Sans being the so called "Lazy Bones" and Papyrus is the responsible, human obsessed one. They were both fun, and I was especially amused with Papyrus. He has a big ego, and he says he wants to be famous, so he tries to capture humans, specifically me. Papyrus, in my opinion was actually pretty cute, he said... uh... what did he say? Oh, if he captures me, he'll finally join the Royal Guard, but I think he's a bit too kind to be a knight... After all, he didn't want to hurt me with that "puzzle" full of an assortment of different weapons.

~Flashback...~

(Just a quick note, I don't remember what they said, so I just made my own.)

I just stood on the bridge as Papyrus and his brother, Sans, stood across where I was standing. "HUMAN!" Papyrus said with enthusiasm in his voice, "YOU HAVE NOW ENCOUNTERED THE PUZZLE OF I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AND MY NOT SO RESPONSIBLE BROTHER, SANS!" "hi." They both spoke as I stood there with my arms crossed. I smiled at both of them as I listened, "My final puzzle, eh?" I asked Papyrus, "So? Where is it?" Sans seemed to agree with me, "yeah, bro. where is it?" Papyrus stomped his foot on the ground as he holds a remote with a large, red button on it. "I WAS GETTING ON WITH IT, SANS!" He presses the button to reveal many obstacles, and they all seem very dangerous. "I-I don't think-" I was interrupted by Papyrus, who was now explaining what would happen if he presses the button once again. "ONCE I PRESS THIS BUTTON, BALLS WILL SWING, SWORDS WILL SLASH AND MANY OTHER TERRIBLE THINGS WILL HAPPEN!!" He told me. As I got ready to make a run for it when everything activates, it seemed like he was stalling. "I'M. GOING. TO. PUSH. THE. BUTTON!" I inhaled as I waited for him to press it, but nothing came. "Well?" "well?" Sans and I said at the same time, but Papyrus can't seem to press the button on that remote. "I... I... CANNOT DO THIS..." He hides the remote, and he looks at me with a defeated face. "bro? anything wrong? nothing activated yet." He looked at me with a tiny orange blush on his face, "IT-IT IS NOTHING, SANS! BUT, FOR NOW, LET'S JUST CALL THIS A DRAW, HUMAN." The machines diactivate, making them go out of sight. "What's up, Pap? Why can't you attack me?" I asked him. His face glowed an even brigter orange. "UH... UH... I-IT'S NOTHING, OKAY, HUAMN?" He ran off, leaving me and his brother behind. "y'know, kid," I approached Sans as he continued to speak to me, "thanks for playing along with pap. and i think he's taking a liking to you." I raised an eyebrow at him, liking? Does he mean friend liking, or the... other one? Eh, now's not the time. "Yeah, I had fun with him too. I guess we better get going." He smiles even wider, "go on ahead, kid. i'll catch up. have fun in snowdin. just don't get... snowed in!" I rolled my eyes and nodded as I made my way to Snowdin.

~Flashback end...~

I passed a small, brown house near the end of the town, and, as I was walking by, I noticed that Sans was there, smiling and pointing to the direction of the next area. I raised an eyebrow at him, before shrugging and making my way to the next area. As I pressed on, it got colder and foggier than it usually was back there. I shivered, making myself warm by rubbing my hands on my arms. "Should've brought something warm..." I say to myself as I still pressed on. "HUMAN!" That voice... it's... Papyrus! A shadow has formed a few feet away from me, it was still Papyrus, waiting for me in this cold weather. "Papyrus, what's up? Got some more puzzles for me?" I asked him, it seemed to make him smile. "WELL, NOT RIGHT NOW, HUMAN! NYEH HEH HEH!! IT SEEMS THAT YOU AND I ARE EQUALLY MATCHED, BUT YOU SEEM A LITTLE LONELY!!" I tilted my head at him, yeah, it was kind of true that I didn't have much friends, but at least I had a few friends. "Papy, I do have--" I wasn't sure if I was hallucinating or something, but music started playing in the background.
