When wife bid goodbye,

Watching the adagio beat of footsteps to the war,

In the heart she prayed,

Letting deep thoughts embrace her.

Will he come back to me or Him?

Yet there was a diamond among gold.

There was her, a mujahidah,

A nurse who nursed yet a warrior who fought,

For Almighty blessed her, Nusaibah Binti Kaab,

For Muhammad himself said, I did not turn left and right,

But to see Ummu Imarah fighting in front of me.

In the name of Allah the most gracious and most merciful,

And peace be upon His Messenger,

For He has granted him a jewel shield,

In the battlefield of Uhud,

She who shielded herself and with a sword,

She charged forward while others were scared,

She instead of the men, a wall to defend His Habib,

When anybody else scrambled, stood strong.

The tale of her scars slashed by Ibny Qumaiah,

Each was a proof of her great courage,

She was as strong as any man,

And she reminded her son that he was too,

When wounds scarred Abdullah's body,

She treated and told him 'Get up my child',

And Allah had granted the lion's heart to him,

To fight alongside his mother,

Till the time he received pleasant news,

Of His Jannah for him, when he fell,

And left the war, blessed by Him.

She fought, she protected, and for the sake of Islam,

Even when she lost her arm, during war of Yamamah,

Against those who betrayed and turned away from their own Diin,

Against Musailamah al Kazzab,

And Allah is great! They won and they worshipped Him.

"O Allah, let them be my accompanies to Heaven"

Muhammad the Prophet once prayed,

And Allah granted her with gift,

To heal with her unhealed,

And Subhanallah she is guaranteed when she was set to sleep,

As the lucky and chosen one, to be gifted with blessing,

And above all, the paradise of all paradise.
