Ugh, my head. I awoke to the loud bustling of people. I sat upright. I was on a small, uncomfortable cot. I ran my fingers through my fire-like hair and looked around. There was a small mirror, three more cots, and next to me was a red feather. It looked familiar, but I couldn't place my finger on where I've seen it before. Hmm..

I decided to ignore it for now and I walked out of the small building. In front of me I saw many small houses, probably consisting of one or two rooms. A sign in front of the small one-room shack read 'Newbie Station.'

I walked around the group of huts and came across a campfire in the centre. People were trying to light it and payed no attention to me. Why were they lighting the fire so ear-

My thoughts were interrupted when I noticed the sky was turning red, pink and orange, symbolising the sunset. Have I been sleeping all day?! Oh my Irene! I walked back to the so-called Newbie Station, my thoughts racing. Where was I? Who was I? I can't even remember my own name! Is this a dream?

I came to the shack and I climbed back into the small cot I figured was mine for the time being. I held the dull, but beautiful feather. I studied it close and suddenly I remembered something.

I was sitting on a wooden chair and across an extravagant set table, was a man. My father, I'd somehow known. He took a sip from a teacup and said in a comforting tone, "Cadenza, my dear, I made a deal with a, kind of, society, and in payment for something I've done, you will be brought to a faraway place. Please do not be upset or scared. I will miss you very much."

My memory was gone. That was all I could remember. I tried to think of it again, the voice of my father haunted me. I looked at the feather and stared at it, trying to make whatever magic made me remember, to happen again. That couldn't be just an abstract thought. It was all too real. I rushed over to the small mirror and looked at my face, and all of my features. My fire hair, my pale-blue eyes, my pale skin. I looked like a Cadenza. I believe that was my name.

Suddenly, a woman with light purple hair, yellow eyes, and cat ears and tail, came in.

"Excuse me, Nya~ Miss, do you know your name? Nya~"
