Hey guys so this a poem I wrote, Thoughst? xx

Open road
She was just a girl
With hopes and dreams
Kind of like you and me
She never played in the schoolyard
Too busy with her books
Planned to go to college
And become a nurse
The day she turned eighteen
She headed off to college
One of them nice ones too
She packed her bags
And was gone before you could say boo
While she was driving down the road
The tears threatened to spill out of her eyes
For she couldnt believe
That today was the day
She packed up and said goodbye
All those years she couldnt wait to move to the big city
From a smalltown
But now she realized
She wasn't all that glad
So to all the kids who want to grow up
Heres a little message
So listen up
Growing up isn't all its cut out to be
So take your time
And find your destiny
And once you find it
You will be glad
And you will want to chase that dream so bad
You'll want it more then you've ever known
Just go for it
And chase that open road
