She looked really tensed as she read her book. Her grip was tight.
I bet there was something going on in her mind. The more I looked at her, the more sadness clouded her features.
She must be thinking of something that made her sad.
Or it could be the book.
I opened my mouth but than suddenly someone spoke.
I looked up and standing there was Amelia, the new girl.
"Hey Jace. Erm do you mind if you teach me how to paint? I mean I really suck at painting and you're really good at it. I brought supplies though."
Amelia was also in my art class. She was good at shading and water colour but she really sucked at painting.
I mean, no offense.
"Yeah sure." I smiled and gestured for her to sit down.
I saw Amelia looking at her at the corner of my eyes.
I realized that I didn't even introduced them to each other.
"This is Amelia. She's a friend of mine and in the same art class as me. " I looked over to her and she nodded before focusing back on her book.
"That's Kaitlyn." I told Amelia and she muttered a greeting but she didn't respond.
Amelia frowned.
"Let's start." I said, ignoring the awkward tension.
Her whole face lit up and I sat opposite, beside her.
She took out her supplies and laid it out on the table.
