chapter seven: magic portal

"ME!" someone screamed from behind me.

I whipped my head around to see a excited face staring back at me. "HAIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!" she said with enthusiasm.

"Hi Kaya," the guys said calmly, in unison. Kaya then laughed and sat down next to me.

"You must be Zoella right? Dylan messaged me about you!" and suddenly she gave me a tight hug.

"Traditional way of how Kaya introduces herself." Ki Hong said. This time, it was his turn to roll his eyes.

"Let's get some lunch since all of us are here," Thomas suggested. We all nodded in agreement.

We returned with our food and I decided to ask them questions to know this school better. "So... Is there anything special about this school?" They all paused their chewing. "What? What's wrong?"

"You asked if this school is, special?" Ki Hong said, mouth stuffed with food. I nodded slowly while looking at the other three.

Ki Hong broke out in laughter, spitting his food everywhere. Dylan, Kaya and Thomas just pulled their food closer to themselves and covered their faces.

"Spe-special? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" he continued laughing. I was getting a little uneasy by his laugh...

After five minutes of continuous laughter, he stopped. "This school is special alright. Do you find the faces here all so familiar? It's because they're all actors, actresses and youtubers! Duh? Haven't you not realised that? Gosh, Zoella," he rambled while shaking his head. Now that he said it, I started to recognise and register the students faces one by one; Tyler Oakley, Ryan Higa, Colleen Ballinger, Jenna Marbles, so many of them!

"And on top of that, we also have a... OUCH! What was that for?" he suddenlly yelped while reaching for his leg to rub it. Kaya gave his a cold stare and her eyes darted to and fro from me to him.

"Wait, so I can't tell her?" Ki Hong said while still rubbing his leg.

"Tell me what?" I said in anticipation. What are they hiding from me? They just kept exchanges glances until I cleared my throat. They just stared at me for quite a while.

"Well... Since she's in our school already, we should just tell her right?" Dylan asked. Then they all looked at Thomas. Why are do they need to rely on Thomas's decision? He nodded his head and continued to eat his food.

"Well..." Ki Hong whispered, "We have a magic portal."
