Like a house of cards,
Or a rally of dominoes,
Is your heart.
It crashes against the limits,
Collapses before the boundaries,
And shatters into the number of bars that make your prison.
You lay there, helpless.
Bound by chains of 'what-ifs',
Surrounded by walls of 'i wish i could'.
You make an effort to leave,
To get out of this treason,
But they only pull you back in stronger.
But you are a power that the world won't be able to fathom,
Your aura is infinite.
So pick up your pieces and let out a mighty roar,
And everything that stops you will come tumbling down.
Now spread your wings for it's your time to soar.
