Chapter 1

"Adam! No! Don't leave! I'm better than her, she's lying to you. She doesn't care about you!"

"Destiny, then why does she trust me with you? You don't trust me with her. Goodbye Destiny, this is your destiny, PAIN is your destiny." Destiny wakes up crying, again, from her dreams. Why is this happening, she thinks, Adam never liked Brittney and Brittney doesn't even know Adam exists. Geez I need to get a life. She hears her father downstairs yelling up to her room. "DESTINY, BREAKFAST'S READY!"

"Ok one minute dad!" Thinks and smirks, no need to yell, it's not like toast and milk is a big deal. She quickly combs her red hair and puts on a black T-Shirt and red cutoff shorts. "So dad, anything new today?" Her dad, dressed in a red and green plaid shirt and jeans, is a carpenter. Not much happens around his "neck of the woods".

"Well today is bring your kid to work day, and I thought you might want to come."

-Sarcastically- "Oh sure dad, I would love to come!"

"Ok what's the deal with your behavior young missy? You've been acting strangely and I don't like it! Tell me now ok?"

"Ok dad! I've been having weird dreams about Adam, like he's been taken away and says 'Your destiny is PAIN Destiny' and stuff. I guess I'm a little freaked out."

"But is that why you dyed your hair red?"

"No dad, I just like the color." No it's because of my dreams, I look pretty good with red hair. "So I guess it's just me and you today at bring your kid to work day?"

"Yep kiddyo, just you, me, and the tools."

"Great." They get into her dad's black Ram and buckle in. "So dad what's up? What are you working on now?"

"Well, Im working on a rocking chair but it keeps breaking, will you help me and try it out to see if it's breaking?"

"Oh sure." When they get to the carpenters warehouse she sees Brittney. Brittney was talking to some guy and was twirling her bleach blond hair. Boy does that look fake. Wait, didn't Brittney's dad apparently "own" this warehouse? she thinks. "HEY BRITTNEY HOW'S IT GOING?" That should teach her.

"Charley!"

"Hey Evan!" her dad yells.

"How's it going? Does your daughter know Brittney? She talks about Destiny ALL the time."

-Whispers- "Dad does he own this carpenting business?"

"No! Where would you think of that?"

"Oh nowhere."
