Chapter 4 The 'New' Home

"Yes, she is, she told me if something ever happens to her to come to you.....Dad." I say. we sit there just staring at each other.

"I'm glad to see your alright I felt bad about leaving her, but what happened between me and her only happened because we were both drunk. I was married when that happened and I still am. I now have a son...so" he says. I get up angrily and start to walk away

"I get it, you don't want me" I say as tears start to roll down my face.

"Wait, no that's not what I....." he starts to say, but I run out of the room before he could finish. I start to run to the front door, I pass a room where Kiba and Shikamaru were. Kiba saw me running, he and Shikamaru started chasing after me. I run down the street until I got to a field with a big tree in it. I run up to the tree and start punching it. Tears overflow in my eyes, as I start to cry 'Why doesn't he want me" I thought to myself 'is it because I was just a mistake'. I stop punching the tree and lie down on the soft green grass, and look at the clouds. I don't know why but that always calms me down, watching the wind blow around my hair, making it move through the blades of grass like thousands of long, thin, snakes. Finally the guys caught up to me. Slowly, Kiba walks over to me, noticing my face stained with tears. Shikamaru walks over to the tree and rubs his hand over the holes. His eyes widened with awe.

"Are you OK?" Kiba asked with concern in his voice. I nod not wanting to talk in chance I might start crying again.

"Hey well its getting dark we should start heading to my place." He says, trying to change the subject.

"Thanks" was the only thing I could say.

"Whoa whoa whoa, hold up, I want to know why you had to talk to my dad" Shikamaru says rudely./

"Don't worry he will tell you when you get home" I say as I'm walking away. Kiba and I leave the field and start walking down a street. The street lights started to turn on. I started to shiver as it started to get cold. Kiba noticed I was getting cold and put his jacket over my shoulders. I stop in surprisement.

"What" Kiba asks nonchalantly. I look up at him. Seeing him without his jacket on was strange. He had on a skin tight black shirt on that showed off his muscles. I feel myself starting to blush so I look down really fast making my hair cover my face.

"Its nothing" I say while still looking down. He laughs and starts walking. I quickly catched up to him. As were walking I notice the road changing from gravel to dirt. We finally come to a house with a giant field behind it. A woman is sitting on the front porch with a giant black and white dog. When we finally get up to the house I see that the dog has a eyepatch on. The woman had very serious eyes. She also lad the exact same marks on her face as Kiba

"Hi mom" Kiba says to the woman. "This is Shizuka, she is new and the Hokage wanted to know if she could stay with us while he finds her an apartment." The woman gets up and walks toward us. She then stands there with her hand on Kiba's shoulder.

"Why of course she can stay, I cant just turn one of my son's friends away, espesically if there a pretty girl like her." She says proudly. I start to blush from the compliment, luckily no one could see is because it was dark. Kiba's mother walks up to me and holds out her hand.

"Hi I'm Tsume Inuzuka, Kiba's mom, nice to meet you. Where are you from?" she asks nicely. I extend my hand out to shake hers, which she shakes rapidly
