I sat in my hospital bed. Unable to sleep. Afraid Louis could go to sleep and not be able to wake up. I felt tears fill my eyes, and I turned over on my side. I couldn't help the fact that I was emotional. I mean just the littlest things could make me upset, this was a big thing though. I could lose my best friend. The guy that I had known since practically middle school, and all of high school. I wiped my cheeks and eyes over and over fighting the urge for a sob to break out. As soon as that happened, Louis would know I was crying, he would know I was upset, but more importantly he would know that I felt guilty. I cried for almost two hours, the sound of Louis breathing finally lulled me to sleep. I awoke the next morning to see Louis sitting slightly up in bed. "Morning sleeping beauty." Louis said with a chuckle. "M-Morning." I said with a raspy voice. "How did you sleep?" I was curious about Louis because yesterday he was in a lot of pain. "Don't worry Haz, I'm fine." I sighed and he rolled his eyes. "If I say *don't worry* then don't." I promise you I'll be fine." I nodded and patted his arm. He just chuckled lightly. "You are a very protective friend, I hope you know that." It was my turn to chuckle, laugh really. "Yes I know." Somebody has to be protective of you." He scoffed slightly and grinned. "I'm a big boy, I can watch out for myself." I rolled my eyes. Louis and his sassy ways. "Thank you...for being protective." It honestly means a lot." I grinned now and patted his shoulder. "What are friends for?" He shook his head and sighed. "You are the greatest friend ever, Harry." I honestly doubt anyone would be able to replace you." I grinned cheekily. "Okay now your just messing with me." He sighed. "No I'm actually quite serious."Well thank you, that definitely means a lot." Louis was about to speak when a nurse walked in. Along with a doctor who had a clipboard in his hand. This couldn't be good...could it?
