It was hard, saying goodbye to him, he was the one that completed me, it was early summer when I met him, no one was quite like him, his beach tanned skin, golden eyes and that's smile that made you want to melt, at first I was so unsure. But then we talked and talked and talked, I never wanted that summer to end.
* Three months earlier*
"Autumn, I know this is your last summer before college, but I was wondering if you wanted to spend the summer with me and Paul at the summer house, in California?"
My mom, Julia Lovean, was a tall brunette, and slender, but she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, I love her, but she could be a pain. Paul, my step dad, was just a pain. End of story.
"Umm sure I guess, I didn't have plans anyways" I replied after several minutes of consideration, it could be fun, and I loved the beach house. Ever since I was little I loved to go there every summer, it's one of those places that you go to to escape reality, it was so peaceful, and usually I never wanted to leave. But this year, something felt different.
