Savannah

Sunny Virginia Beach; it was absolutely beautiful with the water crashing against the sand and the people seemed pretty friendly, but above all else, the weather was warm and in the high numbers. Warm weather is something I wished for year round. Though, living in California for the few years I have has made me miss the snow and cold. I had been thinking of the beach since the moment I woke up this morning on the bus.

Nicole sat with me on the bus as we drove the five hours to the beach. We had decided to do a Periscope during the journey, wanting to interact with fans since there wasn't much to do on the bus. I had gone onto the hash tag I made when I announced the live stream, wanting to see what questions the fans were sending through.

"Oh, user AfterOurMashton asks, what is my next hair color is going to be?"

I thought about it for a second. "I'm actually leaning back into natural colors. Maybe a dark brown? I'm not sure, why don't you guys send me in some options?"

My original hair color was dark brown and I had always loved it so maybe that would be a good color, and since Nicole has went back to a natural color and loved it, maybe I would too. I'll run the plan by a few more times before I actually went and done anything.

"Look, user SikeLove0913 is wondering where Michael is. Savannah, care to elaborate where he might be?"

A lot of the questions were based around Michael and I and if we were actually dating or just friends. I had skipped over those, not because I was embarrassed or anything but because I wanted this little time I got with my fans to be talking about what they'd like to see in upcoming months. Nicole, however, didn't know that I wasn't answering questions about Michael and I or Michael in general so I let it go.

"I think him and the others were going somewhere else before going to Virginia? I haven't checked any of my messages this morning so I'm not sure." I answered, trying to be as vague as possibly because I wasn't for sure if they were wanting people to know that they were headed back to California or not.

A few moments after I said my answer, my phone beeped from the table. I grabbed it, seeing a new message alert from Michael covering my lock screen.

When I opened it, I read his message.

'I'm actually on the tour bus right behind you. There was a change of plans. Instead of us going to California we'll be doing some recording in a beach house for the few days.'

Seeing the text from him told me two things, the first was that I'd be able to hang out with Michael while at the beach, and the second was that he was most definitely watching the Periscope. I smiled at the camera for a moment, listening to Nicole talk about Jack as one of the questions she picked next was about him.

Messaging him back, I laughed at my response.

'Stalking again, Michael? I may have to rethink this relationship if this is one of your tendencies.'

"Look, Vannah, this question is asking about what you got at that tattoo shop last night." Nicole pointed a finger at my computer screen before getting up and heading to the small fridge on our bus. She pulled out a container of strawberries, bringing them over and placing them between us.

I don't think anyone knows this but I absolutely hated the fruit. So I may have discreetly pushed them closer to her.

"It's another tattoo and it says 'Through every dark night there is a brighter day."
