Rippling waters reflecting,

A grey sky peeking down.

A beautiful cottage in the country,

Hidden away from the noises of town.

Green shrubbery and drooping vines,

Grow on and near this cozy house,

"Little creatures love this place,"

So says to me the confiding mouse.

Animals are not the only ones,

Who find this place quite dear.

Shouts of children fill the air,

Running towards us they draw near.

Hopes and dreams like this spot

And some here are fulfilled.

Insightful wanderings apt to flourish,

Grow in fertile soil tilled.
