Once upon a time...

Ember-Esmee wasn't your typical girl. She didn't have the perfect body, she wasn't not very popular, she was a turtle. Always in her shell, she was very shy. Why? All due to her weight. Ever since she could remember she has always been chubby. Ever since she met Omar. Her best friend. Her crush, her first and only love. Her friend Hilda found out that people wrote about her in the bathroom stalls one that read "Ember-Esmee is such a bitch" If they didn't even know her how can they judge her? Another that read "If she lost a little weight, she'd be more approachable" at that Ember took her eraser out of her back pack and erased it. Her eyes got watery but she tried to make it seem like it didn't kill her inside. Her hidden talent singing. The only way that she could express her feelings.

Omar was Ember-Esmee's complete opposite. He was the running back for their High School Team the Falcons. He was seen as popular, He was fit and always liked to work out when he had the time. He had the perfect body- a well defined six pack and amazing muscles . But Embers' favorite feature was his personality. He enjoyed being with her. He never ditched her to be with his team mates. He always asked if she wanted to join- but she knew she wasn't welcomed. Britney made it very clear. He had his own secrets. Actually just one. The one that feels like a burden he has carried for a long time. Since the day that he met her. That fateful day. Fateful in a good way.

Britney never lasted a long time with a guy. She always had a new crush at the end of the month. But her crush for Omar had gone to far. She wasn't into him because she loved him let alone like him. She only wanted him because she didn't want Ember to have him. She knew how much he cared for her, she saw how obvious Ember-Esmee felt about him. How she got whenever girls began to flirt with him. Britney wanted nothing more than to have what she could not. And Omar was her Senior year target. She would do everything in her power to get what she wants. Vanquishing everything in her way.
