They say, when you die, your whole life, or past, flashes before your eyes.
I've died before. I died and instead I saw my future. I saw him, I knew him, and I knew I loved him. He just wasn't here yet.

The snow whipped and whirled around the street in wild patterns.
I walked down the alley in the dimly lit England streets as I pulled my cloak tighter around me and quickened my pace. My dress twisted around my legs almost tripping me multiple times as I trudged back to my city apartment. Normally I live in a spacious country mansion but I was here visiting a cousin and I had insisted I did not need a escort to my apartment which was a mere block away. That was my fatal mistake.
I never heard him coming until he seemingly stepped out of the darkness and smirked unnervingly; then, his eyes flashed red.
I tried to turn and run the other direction but my dress tangled around my legs and I fell into the snow with a shriek. A heavy weight was pressed onto my back before I could fully regain my footing. A low and eerie chuckle emitted from the man as he wrenched my hands behind my back and pinned them with his knee. I could feel the bones cracking with the pressure he applied. I wriggled and tried to wrench my body out from under his.
He grabbed my hair and pulled till my face looked up into his at an awkward angle. I mustered up everything I could a spat in his face, probably being the most unladylike thing I've ever done."You have spirit!" He chuckled wiping his face, the smirk never leaving. I scowled at him and struggled more.
"Most girls just cry and beg.... Are you going to beg for me?" He mocked teasingly. I said nothing. He laughed again as his head drew near to mine but I could feel no breath on my cheek.
With his other hand he grabbed my jaw and twisted my head to the left, exposing my neck. His grip was as firm as iron and before he could near anymore I asked him something."What is your name?"
He seemed perplexed by the question and drew away for a second. I looked up at him trying to memorize his face so that I could, if I survive, end his miserable life. Blood red eyes peered back at me and white elongated teeth stuck out about a half inch further than the rest.
"Jack Torin" he replied with a smirk seemingly figuring that it would make no difference. A second later a hot pain erupted from my neck as I felt his teeth burrow into my jugular. His hands pulled on my hair and jaw increasing access to my neck. I could feel my blood quickly leave my body and replace with something that burned its way through my veins. I began to feel weak to the point where all I could do was let out one final scream.
Suddenly shouts erupted in the street causing my attacker to bolt upright at look toward the end on the alley as torches began to light the street. He looked back down at me before smirking again and twisting my neck so fast, I heard a snap and the world went black.
I was dead.
Images of a handsome young man swirled around my head. Dark brown hair and caramel brown eyes accented his pale skin and red lips that rose in a smile. Then, like lightening, I could see everything about him as it flashed before my eyes like memories that have not yet been made. His clothing was odd and the environment around him confusing before I saw a date,
October 8th, 2017.That was the last thing I remember before I awoke again in the alley, covered in snow and my own blood with a terrible thirst for the man who tried to kill me.
