POV: Vicki

It would be a short flight, they said.

Only a few hours, they said.

Oh, and by short, they meant it would feel short.

And by a few hours, they meant 10 hours.

I mean, wouldn't you expect a few hours to be from 2-6 hours?

But noooooooooo, a few hours is 10 hours!

Ugh, I hate flying by plane. Makes me feel all icky inside. Makes me want to throw up, vomit everywhere.

I get air sickness.

"Daaaad!" I whine, tugging on his sleeve for the umpteenth time.

He sighs. "Yes, sweetie?" He says in the most polite voice he can manage.

"How much longer until we land?" I lean on his arm, trying to concentrate on something other than barfing all over my dad.

"6 more hours."

"But dad!"

"Sweetie, I can't change the speed of the plane, and even if I could, I wouldn't."

"Why not?"

"Because that is an utterly ridiculous idea that could get everyone killed."

I pout. "You're no fun today. Well, not that you've ever been any fun..." I mumble.

"As boring as I am, I can hear you."

"Oh."

"And as fun as I am is how much of a brain you have."

"Hey!"

"I was saying you were smart."

"Unless you call lawyers and politics fun!" I giggle, and we share a smile.

Things were going good for dad and I.

My eyes drifted off to sleep after that conversation, after all, I had a different timezone before and I needed my shuteye. I yawned, feeling my chest rise with each breath. It wasn't long until I was transported into wonderland.

POV: Ladybug

"Eeeep! Cat Noir, let me go this instant!" I silently cursed that darn cat. How he managed to get my yoyo without me noticing was a mystery, much less how he managed to get one of my feet to walk into one of those 'lasso traps' and now have me dangling upside down from a streetlight.

"Well well well, deja vu all over again. You seem to be roped up in a situation." Cat Noir playfully tapped my nose, earning a glare in return.

"Let me go, Cat Noir!"

"But that takes all the fun out of it."

"I'm serious, Cat!"

"Exactly, which is why you need to be more fun. More relaxed. Come on, my lady, lighten up. Well, you can't actually, because you shine like the sun."

"Well, I am right under the streetlamp light." I smirk, getting a small scowl in reply. Then, I see the corners of his mouth twist up in a mischievous grin. I didn't like that look. Not. At. All.

I see him chuckle as he slowly approaches me.

"C-Cat... what are you doing...?"

He walks until he is standing right in front of me, and then, he pushes me so I am suddenly swinging in the air.

"AHH!!! CAT NOIR!!!!!" I scream, as I start to feel dizzy. I started spinning in a slow circle as I swung like a pendulum left and right, left and right. "LET ME DOWN FROM... here..." I was too dizzy to keep yelling at him. Fuzzy's started to blot out some of my vision as the swaying gradually decreasing. I hear a 'click' of my yoyo being released, and strong hands flipping me on my feet.
