M I A 'S P. O . V
With my head down,I walked through the halls.I felt every pair of eyes on me. Everyone had witnessed my little scene outside and brought unwanted attention towards me.
"Mia?"the hushed voice of Anna snapped me out of my little wallowing party .
Ignoring her I pull out my newly cracked phone ,pressing it to my ear I replied, "Yeah?"
"How come I've never seen you around?"
"We come from two different social circles, you and your friends worry about who's yacht you guys are taking out next week while I struggle to pay for my classes." sighing I shut the phone.
"I have to get to class."I softly whisper. Anna quietly follows me into my social health class.
Professor Blanton gave me an irritated look when I walk in."So glad you could join us today Mia,and late as usual I see. "
Before I had a chance to reply he continued.
"But at least you showed up today." his glasses slip a little when he looked down on me with a stern expression.
The whole class was filled with soft laughter from the other students.
My cheeks burn with embarrassment that he put me on the spot in front of the entire class looking at the ground, trying to avoid eye contact with the other students I make my way to the last row of seats.
The lesson consisted of taking notes from the slide show and every now and then writing down what the professor talked about, it was a two hour class with a break in between.
Anna had patiently waited for my class to finish. She was seated in an empty seat right next to mine contently paying attention to the lesson.
The seats in the back were always empty since people feared the professor would think you weren't participating by doing the notes so they usually avoided sitting in the back.
Blanton never walked to the back so midway into the second hour I turned all the way to the back of my notebook and starting writing.
Do you know what classes you were taking?
I lightly patted Anna's hand gaining her attention she looked at my notebook. She read my note and nodded her head back and forth.
"I honestly don't remember this school,"she paused. "Are you sure I came here?
Yes, I've seen you around campus with a few of your friends, although I don't know of any of their names. I wrote back, I didn't need anybody thinking I was talking to myself like some psycho.
Try, think harder Anna we need something to start looking into.
She closed her eyes squinting them, her forehead showing creases of her hard concentration.
Sighing she opened her eyes. "Nothing," she said with frustration leaking.
Time to move onto plan B,and as much as I wanted to avoid this lend me your hand.
She outstretched her hand, "what's plan B? Did we even have a plan to being with?"
Grabbing her palm I slowly let the ripples consume my eyesight.
"Daddy!" she rammed her body into her fathers who was sitting on the couch chair, reading the paper.
Anna pulled out a slightly crumpled paper.
"I got in!"she squealed into her father's ear.
Honey,"he said a little out of breath. "That's gre-
Pounding,my head was pounding, a wave of dizziness hit me and I quickly pulled my hand away from Anna.
"What happen?"
In the softest voice, I try to respond to Anna. "I hate doing that."
Anna was about to speak but a terrified look crossed her face and before I had a chance to ask what was wrong she disappeared.
